Chewy fail once again - another Ingredient list wrong!
By KerboTx on Jan 14, 2021
I've purchased 2 other Kalmbach Feeds before this Hi-Omega formula, so I felt I knew what to look for & what to avoid on my next purchase. But all that goes out the window when chewy/Kalmbach can't be bothered to list their ingredients honestly & accurately. This Hi-Omega formula does NOT contain Alfalfa Meal, which is disappointing bc that's one of the things I liked about it. More importantly, it DOES contain that blend of "essential oils" found in some of their products, like Full Plume, that my chickens do not care for, listed on the feed tag as simply "natural flavors". Totally regret this purchase; my chickens will eat it, but only if I mix it with another feed in a wet mash. What a waste I've purchased 2 other Kalmbach Feeds before this Hi-Omega formula, so I felt I knew what to look for & what to avoid on my next purchase. Winter egg wonderland
By Katty on Feb 14, 2021
My chickens love to eat this crumble- there hasn’t been any low egg production- I am thinking this feed is the one to “blame”. Great product! I use their scratch too- I like that it has a little more corn to keep them warm in the winter

I get More eggs now
By NoNo on Jan 19, 2021
I was getting maybe 1 egg a day from 10 chickens. The food I was feeding them they really liked but I was not getting any eggs. They do not like this food but I’m getting 8+ eggs a day now. I give them half this and half the other food.

Love this food & chewy
By Gwen on Dec 5, 2020
Everyone comments on how healthy my chickens look. Others have said, now that, the weather has turned colder, their chickens have slowed down or even stopped laying. Most of my chickens are only 4 months old and are laying perfect eggs with nice thick shells daily. I love this Kalmbach food.

Chicken like it
By HellllooNurse on Jan 20, 2021
My chickens and the local pigeons like it. The chickens are 8 months old and are still laying eggs daily and they look healthy. No complaints here. Will buy again.

Good omega food
By marty on Jan 14, 2021
my chickens loved the omega food. I'm giving 4 stars because it is crumbles and no pellets. I much prefer pellets due to birds helping themselves to the crumbles.

Chicken food
By Kittymomma on Dec 19, 2020
My girls took right to this feed after switching brands. So convenient, saves me a trip to a store that I have to go to only for chicken food. Thank you Chewy for offering this!

I’ve compared the ingredients and this feed is comparable to other well know brands. It makes my chickens happy and keeps them healthy.
