Kalmbach is our new favorite!
First off this stuff smells like chicken dressing. It’s herby and savory smelling. Like real stuff is in it. We switched from Purina grower crumbles and I supplement oyster shells. The Purina smells like NOTHING. They loved this so much I’ve never seen them all flock to their feed before. This is our forever feed now!
Awesome Chick Feed!
I feed this along with Kalmbach’s Chickhouse Reserve to add a little variety to my chick’s diet. At 6 weeks all my chicks had beautiful full feathers and lol like miniature versions of what they are supposed to look like as adults. There was no bald areas you often see with growing birds. They are beautiful and vibrant and growing well!
Great feed
I am a new chick mom and 1 of my baby chicks was labeled "failure to thrive" and some people suggested I switch to this feed instead of what the TSC sold me. Within 5 days the chick finally started growing in size and all of my chicks seemed happier and healthier!

Moldy feed
I have used this feed before and it was fine, but in my last bag I got about halfway through and noticed there were moldy chunks in the bag and threw out the rest of the bag.

I was feeding my chickens prides choice and at 6 months old their combs were pale I noticed the feeds smell had changed not good I stop feeding ordered your feed and in a few weeks the combs were red and they were laying eggs

I’ve tried a few other brands but Kalmback is hands down my favorite, it smells so good and the girls love it!
