- Cover base of habitat or enclosure with loose product to a depth of 1 to 3 inches.
Cleaning
- At least once per week, remove all bedding and wash enclose with a mild soap solution. Rinse cage thoroughly with clean water to ensure the removal of soap residue.
- Frequency of cage cleaning depends on the size of your pet's home and number of animals.
- Always replace bedding with fresh product.

Guinea Pig Bedding

This bedding is the best for odor control. I have tried just about everything out there for bedding that is safe for Guinea Pigs and this one by far is the best one. I would highly recommend buying this bedding for any critter.

Definitely works

I have 2 guinea pigs and they make a lot of mess. I can let the cage go for a longer period of time before I have to clean it, because the smell is cut down tremendously. I still spot clean but it can go much longer before I have to clean the entire cage.

This is the best bedding I have used. I use it as litter in a bunny litter box, and I change it once a day by just dumping the litter box into a garbage bag. Super easy. I have not noticed as much of a smell since switching to this bedding. I have two bunnies. Kaytee Critter Litter is what I was using before, and it smelled horrible! This is also much more cost effective, I go through the 65 - L in two months. Maurer Critter Litter is $8 a bag and I go through one bag in 4 days. Ridiculous!! I highly recommend this product!

Too dusty for burrowers

Got this a while back for my new hamster as it is what she had in her former home. Did not realize how dusty it is until I tried it with the new bunny. Also, zero odor control, had to clean rabbit cage the next day...which is when I saw all the dust. Hammie on plain Carefresh, bunny on cobbled paper, no dust, no odor.

Blue Glove pieces

I have bought this bedding 3 or 4 times but this time I noticed bits of blue flecks in the bedding as I was filling the litter box, I thought maybe it was just some off color bedding pieces. Until I got half way through the bag and found a big piece of blue plastic glove as pictured below. I am so furious that I had plastic in my girls bedding I am thankful they hadn’t chewed or eaten any of this plastic glove. Don’t buy this bedding they clearly don’t inspect they final product very closely

Love My guinea pigs

My fav so far! Low dust and Oder control was great . Did not stick to Fleece as badly as other bedding does. As you can see I use it for all six of my guineas in their cages but right now they’re having fun playtime

This is the best bedding for my guinea pigs, they love it. They love cuddling into it. It’s soft and it does keep the smell out of the room. It is very absorbent with the pee and the smells.

I highly recommend KAYTEE CLEAN & COZY 14 Day Odor bedding for all guinea pigs. It is the TOP bedding. My little Twinkie just loves it. Kaytee bedding is super absorbent. We tried CAREFRESH shavings plus bedding, it is terrible. Do not get this one... has woodchips in bedding and not comfortable nor safe; but KAYTEE is the BEST!

Totally worth it

I have hedgehogs and they tend to get smelly quickly. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because, while it did extend the time between cleanings from 3-7 days, it didn't give 14 day odor control. I just wanted others to know that have exotics that it will give you a few extra days of no stinky stinky, but you won't get 2 weeks .
