Too big for the cage and provided too much food for 1

If you have a bunch of guinea pigs or more than 2 than this would work for you. I rescued one abandoned guinea pig and this provides way too much food/pellets for a single or 2 piggies. Also he doesn't really like the hay holder. I dont know maybe he wasn't raised with a hay holder. Anyway I will donate to the aspca or local guinea pig rescue.

Why the section in the back?

Feeder is large enough to place food, but there's a separate, deep section in the back that is difficult for my bunny to reach. Not sure why it's there.

Sturdy container

Did not work for me. Does not hold enough hay, and a clip was broken. The container was very nice though.

Good, but my bunny chewed it up

I bought 2 of these, both for my two bunnys, they hold up really good unless you have a pet that likes to chewy on everything and anything.

It is not a bad feeder. It does what it says. I couldn't help feeling like my rabbit wanted to eat it way too much. That said, I changed to metal feeders. However,

The locking top

Works great. Love the locking top. However, you can't stuff it too full. Whatever falls to the bottom past the wire the bunny cannot get to it to eat. Also ordered
