No waste
I love this because of no waste/no mess. Birds love it
Most popular food in my backyard!
I bought this for a feeder on my patio where I didn't want shells everywhere. This feeder hanging from my pergola, containing this mix, is by far the busiest feeder in the yard! Even though there are no shells, a tiny bit still spills out on the ground. But it isn't an issue since the squirrels are constantly searching below the feeder! There are chickadees, sparrows, finches, and jays all waiting for a turn. When you open the bag, it smells great too--like granola! I'm purchasing more.
Bird Review
Very good, Birdies seem to love it, I cannot say though, that its waste free because certain birds like to throw it around... Easy open bag !!
Birds love a challenge
After cleaning up literally buckets of sunflower husks from under the feeder, I wanted to try a waste free food. This has worked beautifully, no mess at all. It can be a little sticky and took a few days for the birds to figure out how to get morsels out but they seem to like it and consider it worth the extra effort.
Not a fan of this
I didn't find the quality to be very good and wasn't surprised when the birds and squirrels wouldn't eat it. However the chipmunks were ok with the seed and ate it.
