Our cat LOVES this cat tree that we have hanging on the door. He hangs out all the time and generally thinks he is in command over all he sees. It prevents him from trying to jump onto the atop edge of the door (I know he is Evel Knievel-a-la-cat), and allows him to then SAFELY jump over to the top of the bathroom cabinet. And better yet, it has shown no wear or tear at all. It is very substantial and easy to flip up and down. Love this product.

Wobbles, but more stable if you stick it to the door, add a few tweaks

After my (10 lb) cats tested it, I saw how loose and wobbly the shelves were. I sewed the shelf holder "sleeves" more tightly closed with yarn. The back also flaps

After my (10 lb) cats tested it, I saw how loose and wobbly the shelves were. I sewed the shelf holder "sleeves" more tightly closed with yarn. The back also flaps against the door, so I used removable wall hanging strips (stickers) to stick it to the door. A great design improvement would be to add 1 or more sideways belts to tighten it around the door. You can make it more stable, but otherwise will be wobbly.

I had to put him on it initially. Now he jumps up and weaves his way to the to so he can observe his peasants at floor level. I was disappointed that the brackets didn't fit on the front door, but the second choice was a perfect fit. It is very stable and secure.

Loud as f

They love this thing. Both of my cats run up and down it jumping through the holes having a blast. It is super loud though, but feels super secure im not worried

Both cats love the door trees!

I have two door trees, both K&H. The other is less like an open platform like this one in and is enclosed. My cats love it. The platforms are detachable for washing

I have two door trees, both K&H. The other is less like an open platform like this one in and is enclosed. My cats love it. The platforms are detachable for washing and fold up as well if you need the platforms to be stored. The open platform has a bit less space for a 14lb cat (my biggest cat) but he still prefers it to the enclosed cat tree. His butt hangs out of the climbing holes but he doesn’t seem to mind. Easy to install, I definitely recommend.

Decent alternative to the window hanging tree

I have the window hanging cat tree and my cats LOVED it, but when we moved, there was not a good window for it, so I bought this tree. It works well with the doors

I have the window hanging cat tree and my cats LOVED it, but when we moved, there was not a good window for it, so I bought this tree. It works well with the doors I have. Make sure you pull the straps as tight as possible, and adjust the clamps as needed (they bend with a bit of force, and come with bumpers). This tree is definitely louder than the window one, and doesn't have the same views, but my cats enjoy it still. Also, we have since moved again and now have a place for both the door and window hanging trees!

It’s solid, but.

Excellent, design, but my orange tabby is just way too big for it. That’s the only reason I would not buy it again. Smaller cats will probably love it.
