Cleanest, Easiest to Clean Litter Box!

We’ve only ever used plastic litter pans/boxes, and wow does stainless steel really change the game. Nothing sticks no matter what kind of litter is used - pee patties

We’ve only ever used plastic litter pans/boxes, and wow does stainless steel really change the game. Nothing sticks no matter what kind of litter is used - pee patties that would glue themselves to the edges of the plastic boxes slide right off the stainless. It’s cleaner, it looks nicer, and it’s all-around easier to clean. The high back keeps everything inside, and the ledge at the front helps our aging boys get in and out with less fuss and mess. We also really like how there’s a lip where the halves of the box join; it keeps any stray streams from leaking out of the sides. 10/10, would buy again.

Great size BUT the ledge insert has extremely sharp edges!!

The size is great on this litter box. The rubber coating around the edge of the upper "high sided" portion is fantastic....However, the same coating was not afforded

The size is great on this litter box. The rubber coating around the edge of the upper "high sided" portion is fantastic....However, the same coating was not afforded to the metal ledge insert and its edges are so sharp that it is a safety hazard to you and your feline family members.... I contacted Chewy to see if there were "replacement parts" for the ledge insert and was unfortunately told "no". Would suggest that the manufacturer add the edge coating to the ledge insert - for the amount of money, safety should not be an issue!!

Great Litter Box

My cats and one dog have used this right away. They never turned away from it and I like the feature I can see right away when they have used it and can scoop

My cats and one dog have used this right away. They never turned away from it and I like the feature I can see right away when they have used it and can scoop it up. I also like the little litter shelf which removes most of the liter from their paws. Way less litter on the mat now. Strongly this great liter box. And nice to know I do not have to buy extra bags us use this box.

Didn’t do what it said it would do

I was extremely disappointed. The advertisement for the item & the description on the Chewy website really played it up big that you wouldn’t have litter and urine

I was extremely disappointed. The advertisement for the item & the description on the Chewy website really played it up big that you wouldn’t have litter and urine on the floor because it protected from that since the sides were so tall and the places where pieces connected were very tight so as not to allow anything out. The first night after I set it up, there was pee all over the floor. It was from the cat peeing on the side of the litter box inside (anas cats often do) and it leaking out through the pieces that were supposed to be tightly fitted. I worked very hard to make sure those pieces were tightly fitted together, so I felt confident there was no way they could have been any tighter. I have tried many litter boxes and really believed this would make a difference because I use a wheelchair and it’s not exactly easy for me to clean that kind of stuff up. I would actually like to return the litter box if that’s possible. Thank you.

Perfect litter box!

So I love my Litter Robot. I do. It makes it super easy. But it is SO HARD to clean. I felt bad for my own cats because I felt like I just couldn’t keep up with it. I began seeing stuff about stainless steel litter boxes and I found this one. My cats LOVE it. They are kinda big (12-13lbs each) so they love the space this gives them, and the high sides are absolutely perfect. I love that it comes with a little guard strip to keep litter out of the connection point between the top and bottom of the box. Definitely recommend!!

Poor quality, not worth the price.

It says this is stainless steel, but it is already rusting in one part. I have only been using it for a little less than 1 month and I clean it regularly. The areas

It says this is stainless steel, but it is already rusting in one part. I have only been using it for a little less than 1 month and I clean it regularly. The areas where my cat urinates have stained, which is odd because stainless steel isn’t supposed to rust or stain. In addition, the trim is already falling off. The urine also leaks out of the side and the metal attachments that come with it to secure the top to the bottom, don’t secure it very well. I wouldn’t recommend, my plastic litter box is easier to maintain and clean, it was also only $30 compared to the almost $90 this “stainless steel” box cost me. I’m sure I can’t return it either, since it’s been used. I really like Chewy and use it for a lot of my pet’s items and and will continue to do so. But the last couple of items have been poor quality. The photos are of the box freshly cleaned and dried.

The Jury Is Still Out

I do love that it’s stainless steel, BUT we are already having to retrofit, which makes me nervous. I have one boy cat who is an “elevator pee-er.” This means he hits the space/crack between the lid and the base. My last lidded plastic litter box (same design but plastic top) had no problems keeping the urine from going into the crack. This one does have problems. When I tilted the box, urine came dripping out. They supplied a rubber strip for “extra protection” (do they know?) but I don’t understand how you use it without double-sided tape. Chewy does not allow returns of cat boxes, to my knowledge. Sadly, I will be applying that seal with double-sided tape AND likely adding duct tape. (Which presents a whole new problem when I have to remove the top for cleaning. Plus it looks tacky.) Hopefully, this doesn’t end up being an expensive lesson.

Good quality, large litter box in stainless, which I learned doesn't absorb smells like plastic does. My only caveat is that sprayers will get pee between the seams

Good quality, large litter box in stainless, which I learned doesn't absorb smells like plastic does. My only caveat is that sprayers will get pee between the seams of the top and bottom, which come apart. You'll have to clean that edge. But otherwise seems to be working well for my 2 large cats.

Solid and big.

The cats like this box. It did take them a few goes to ignore the step. I like it for the high sides, the fact that the bottom of the box doesn't have a channel

The cats like this box. It did take them a few goes to ignore the step. I like it for the high sides, the fact that the bottom of the box doesn't have a channel around it, that the sided don't lean in too much, also that there are pads on the base to stop it scratching your floor. The mat that comes with it works really well.
