My cats are picky sometimes with the kind of wet food they can tolerate without it affecting their poops or making them throw up. (So it's really not their fault.)

My cats are picky sometimes with the kind of wet food they can tolerate without it affecting their poops or making them throw up. (So it's really not their fault.) We typically have dry food for them and have wet food kinda as a treat. Thankfully this was one that caused no issues. I love giving them a special treat while not having to clean up any messes afterwards.

We have 9 cats aging from 2 to 13. I opened a can for our youngest boy, he usually takes a couple bites of food and walks away. He was sitting at this food for at least a good 5 minutes just chowing down on it. Once he was done one of our older boys came in, took a sniff of it and walked away. BUT! The next day when we introduced it to all of them, our older boy was in there eating it just like the others. These are all cats that are used to getting wet food at least once a day. They all stayed at their plates eating this food till it was practically gone. The original brand of cat food we get them, they don’t eat nearly as much as they did this one.

my senior kitty has become so picky he doesn't seem to like any food anymore, but he liked this. its a smooth pate for cats with few or no teeth. I didn't have to add water like with most pate', i just mashed it down and stirred it. I noticed reviews said it contains a lot of bones, i haven't noticed any yet. this doesn't list in the ingredients tricalcium phosphate or dicalcium phosphate or polyphosphate, etc.. that is why I bought (the 3 cans) this. most cat foods contain the artificial added phosphates which are way worse for cats kidneys than just the naturally occurring phosphorus from the meats. this koha limited ingredient chicken pate and farmina cat food are 2 of the few that dont contain the kidney destroying added phosphates. has fruits and vegetables which are good for cats. this food is almost perfect which is extremely hard to find. the only bad part is the price.

I truly wanted my little kitty to like this food. Not one of the first five ingredients had by product or bone meal in it. The food is defintely in range with the healthy choices Freya usually eats. The food smelled like standard chicken wet food and looked standard. Nothing special but nothing crazy. Freya didn't like it though. At first can, she took a couple bites for breakfast and then turned her nose at it. She actively chose dry food over her wet food.

This limited ingredient food appears to be very high quality. The texture is quite quite smooth and consistent. I liked that it is high protein, but there does appear to be a lot of other ingredients in it, some of which don't seem necessary, so I'm not sure if it's the best fit for those with super sensitive tummies. My senior cat has lymphoma in his stomach, so he has a very sensitive tummy and unfortunately this was not a winner for us.

Younger cats love this high protein food

I'm giving this product 4 stars because I have 3 younger female cats that absolutely love this food and immediately took to it, but my 2 older males just are not

I'm giving this product 4 stars because I have 3 younger female cats that absolutely love this food and immediately took to it, but my 2 older males just are not a fan. It's got great ingredients so I was super excited to try it, especially because there are no fillers ( no strange looking veggies or rice) and it's mostly chicken ( not fat or the left overs). It's a pate texture and like I said, younger cats love it as they seem to enjoy higher protein based food. My older males are very picky though so any change from their usual is typically not accepted. I'd definitely buy this food again to add to rotation, so I can have healthier options for my younger cats.

It plops easily out of the can and has a very smooth consistency. Super smooth paté. My cat is on a joint supplement and that mixed in very well and easily. My cat loved the taste of this.

A decent limited ingredient cat food

It's a good product and the size is good. I can split 1 can between my two cats. One absolutely loves it. The other will eat half and did throw up once aftrer eating

It's a good product and the size is good. I can split 1 can between my two cats. One absolutely loves it. The other will eat half and did throw up once aftrer eating it, but that can be normal for them. I will say I wish it was blened a little better. I have found small bits of bone in a couple of the cans. The cans are easy to open. I would prefer packets to cans.
