When you add a soft treat like the Stuff 'N Easy, there is always some that remains inside that my dog can't get to. How do you clean it out? It can get pretty nasty over time if left.

Answer by ChewyApr 16, 2018
Soak your KONG in warm water with a little dish soap to help loosen those stickier bits. For tougher treats and sticky peanut butter: bottle brushes (often used to clean baby bottles) and a dab of dish soap can help get those tricky areas near the top. Make sure to rinse thoroughly with warm water.

What kind of rubber are KONG Extreme products made out of?

Answer by ChewyJun 30, 2018
The KONG rubber toys are made from a non-vulcanized, non-toxic natural rubber that's made in the USA.

What size Kong Stuff N treats fit in the Kong extreme large bone? It's hard to tell on the picture if the hole fits the small Kong stuff n treats or the large sized.

Answer by ChewyAug 06, 2018
The large Kong Stuff N treat will fit in the Kong extreme large bone.

Why do the 'extreme' toys have to be black...I want something more colorful but me pitmix boy chews right through the red one!

Answer by ChewyJun 20, 2019
At this time KONG Extreme toys only come in black.

Pit bull proof

This is our pit bull’s favorite and the ONLY rubber dog toy she can’t destroy except for the super-hard ones that are like a solid hard plastic heavy brick mold

This is our pit bull’s favorite and the ONLY rubber dog toy she can’t destroy except for the super-hard ones that are like a solid hard plastic heavy brick mold and we hate those because they’re dangerous when thrown or dropped or slung on a headshake. We’ve had this bone for at least two years now. Nothing else lasts like NOTHING not ANY other dog toy just this one toy. I am NOT KIDDING NOTHING ELSE LASTS MORE THAN A FEW MINUTES THIS DOG. We love her but dang girl. I wish there were more toys made exactly like this one. It’s either this one forever or every other toy one time one play it’s ripped up chewed up tore apart. She carries it everywhere inside and out and often sleeps with it. It has a fun bounce for her to chase, doesn’t break the tile floors and doesn’t give anyone including the cat a black eye or concussion. I really don’t know what we would do without this bone. Please make more shapes same material.

My chihuahua mix loves this toy. Just so you know it's not a solid piece of rubber.. the ends are open on the sides so you can put a treat in it. I was hoping it was solid so my dog didn't try to eat it. Otherwise a great toy so far for a dog that loves to chew.

Disappointing

Our dog only touches this if we put treats in the holes. Holes are very small, rubber is not flexible. Hard to wash, don’t put peanut butter or sticky treat inside!

Sturdy

Bought it as a gift for my cousins dog, she loved it! Doesn’t let it go! She normally destroys every toy she gets and this one has been taking a couple of weeks

Only toy he doesn’t destroy in two days.

I’ve been buying these for Cooper for the last two years. He destroys and eats any other toys. These at least last a couple months before he gets pieces off to eat

Great for dogs that will chew through everything.

In-law's dog must be part hyena because it chews EVERYTHING and destroys 99% of all toys designed for 'aggressive chewers.' Time will tell on the longevity of black

Time will tell on the longevity of black Kong products (in this specific case), but at least this thing doesn't sound like a cinder block when he drops it on the floor (or your toe).

How tough it is, my strong chewers aren't able to rip them apart

Since it's been so cold and my dogs can't get outside to run they are going stir crazy, I filled the ends with yogurt mixed with peanut butter and put in the freezer

I wish he didn’t like it so much because it’s kind of heavy and he wants me to throw it for him- and he chews it so loudly I have to take it away occasionally if he’s sitting on the couch enjoying it during family tv time. But he loves it. He’s a strong chewer and one of these will last about 5 months before it’s starting to get gnawed apart.
