Long Lasting
My Aussie is an extreme chewer. We have gone through so many different toys but this one has lasted the longest. We bought it back in July and it’s now November and it’s still in great shape. It’s also nice that we can put treats inside for an added challenge for our pup. We’ve tried other tire type chews and this is the only one she hasn’t managed to destroy.
Strong Toys
I have a Husky that chews everything, and this Kong Extreme Tires Dog Toy is the perfect toys for him. He is 8 moth old and puts everything in his mouth and I really love strong toys just like this and I wish you guys have more STONG TOYS just like this but different style. Make it happen please because he chews everything, and the doggy toys just does not work at all.
Our dogs favorite toy. Extremely tough!
This is, hands down, our dogs favorite toy. He carries it around, we play fetch with it, lots of tug of war. I have literally dragged him around the house with it. It's been over a year and it's still going strong even though hes an 80 lb lab who has a STRONG mouth and has torn through any other so-called "tough chewer" products. In fact, this purchase was actually a second backup one just in case the first one gets lost or finally does break. We wanted a backup with how long it has lasted. We cannot recommend it enough for dogs that are extremely tough chewers and in terms of flexibility of a toy.
Too small
Its only 4.5 " (10 cm) across. My dog is 100 lb Dogo Argentino with a broad mouth. I think he could choke on it. I gave it away. It would be good for a medium/small dog. I gave it 3 stars because it's as well made as other Kong products which is good.
deceptive
I ordered a large kong tire toy, and didn't read the small print. The toy is actually about 6 in across ---- too small for my golden retriever. He is not interested in it.
disappointed
Literally had this tire for 3 minutes. My puppy was able to chew a hole through and was gnawing on the piece that came off. Very unsafe and disappointing.
TOY AUSSIES LOVE THE KONG TIRE
Bought this toy for my TOY AUSSIES my super chewers and they have yet to destroy this Kong item. They love when i put treats in the rim of the tire and work and chew to get them out for hours. Highly recommend for your chewers. Another Kong hit!
great for pits
my pitbull is a toy shredder, he loves this toy and it’s lasted a month now. it’s one of his favorites, i expect it to last longer
Too small
Unfortunately, I did not realize how small of a toy this was. I thought we could use it for fetch and tug of war with our pit bull, but it was too small for her to really grab a hold of. Typically, we really like Kong's products, but this one did not work for us... But it may work for you and your pet!
Great for big dogs who love to chew.
Bubba loves his tire. It is the right size for him to play with it in the house. I toss it in various places for him to find and he takes it in to the empty room where he can toss it and catch it and shake it around. He even takes it to bed with him every night after I throw it for him to fetch.
