Decision, a bottle or my Kong?
Bear loves his Kong since he was 10 weeks old. He gets one in every dog food delivery box. I sometimes play with him too hard, and I ripped it. So I sew it back, but one lasts him couple of months of rough tug of war. PS. If you have a heavy chewer, buy the XXL rough chewer version.
Sturdy toy for my dogs
I see a lot of reviews that dogs have torn these up. I have gotten them for both my dogs and I haven’t had a problem with them getting torn up. My older dog loves them since he had one when he was a puppy. And my puppy has chewed on tails of the one we bought her, but has not chewed through it yet.
Rips easily
We have an aggressive chewer and usually stick to products made by Kong due to their durability. Unfortunately this one fell victim. I made sure to watch her while she had it thinking the first thing she would rip up is the tassels, however, she was able to rip the seams right out on the squeaky part of it within minutes
Shreds too easily
It's ok for light play but take it away when you're done! Dog will absolutely shred it in no time if left alone. This is the second one I purchased and there's just no more room to stitch it back together anymore.. would not recommend for rough play or tough chewers.
No Squeaker
The squeaker in the Kong toy worked for 1.5 days, then the squeaker mechanism came out inside the toy. You can hear it rattling around inside, but it’s not in the air hole and makes no squeaky noise. Heidi is very disappointed.
Didn't last 48 hours
Usually Kong products are durable for my chewers. This one wasn't. Two dogs playing tug of war got it ripped open in 2 days. Before I knew it one dog was chewing on the popped ball part. Did I get a faulty one?
only toy I buy!
I have 3 labs and these have been their favorite toys since the day I brought them home! They hold up well with the chewers but as any toy they do eventually wear and tear. Worth the buy for a busy dog, especially if they’re a fetch and tug one!
puppy chewed it in a few hours
gave it to my 35 lb pitty and she chewed thru the top within an hour or 2. This is not as durable as I thought it would be given the brand. She chewed the top ball off and had I not seen it in her mouth there was a good chance she could have choked on it as it fit completely in her mouth.
Kong wubba
Were told these were tough bought 2 large for big dog an 2 small for dachshund and all 4 were torn apart within half hour when i called i was told to order the black ones next time they are tougher supposedly
My dog loves this toy!
I have a very active 2-year-old jagdterrier, and she loves her Wubba! Jago is picky about toys in that she destroys the ones she isn't fond of but actually just plays with the ones she loves and keeps them around for a long time. Wubba is a favorite. She did eventually puncture one of the squeakers, so while it still squeaks, it isn't as loud, but that is the only damage it has sustained, and she is into vigorous play. If your dog likes this sort of toy, I'm sure Jago would recommend it!
