KONG Genius Mike Dog Toy, Color Varies

Both of my dogs adore these. Lots of little treats fit inside, and sometimes I will jam-pack some bigger ones in for an added challenge. They are perfect for crate time and have yet to be chewed through (and my dogs aren't light chewers). If they've had these in their crates, even if the treats are all gone, they will still choose to carry these KONGS out to whatever room they are going to. I also just stick kibble in and my dogs are just as motivated to get that out, so works as a slow feeder of sorts too!

My dog is a power chewer who focuses solely on chewing toys for hours. This toy got her running around and getting creative trying to get treats out by throwing it from the couch to pushing it against the wall so it would not move. The first day we got it she spent hours on it. She is still obsessed with it days later. Definitely a good toy to keep your dog engaged and entertained. She hasn't chewed on it too heavily yet, but so far it has stood up to Kong's standards for that.

I was so in hopes that this would be a durable toy that my power chewer wouldn't destroy, but, alas, I had to throw it away the very next day for fear of him swallowing the pieces he was tearing off. It really seemed to be a pretty durable toy, but it was no match for my dog who is a serial destroyer of toys. However, if your dog likes to actually play with their toys and not eat them, it would probably be a great choice.

I live with a 7 y/o schipperke who is highly sensitive and tends to be anxious. Making him do something for his food rather than just handing it to him for nothing was not a new suggestion, but this toy works the best so far to deliver a pleasant and calming experience to him. He's occupied and doesn't react to incidences around him nearly to the extent he used to. I highly recommend this toy!

This is challenging for my senior rescues. The kibble I have doesn't come out easily and I'm trying to get them to understand it is "ok" to toss it around. Tossing it in the air causes more kibble to fall out. They tend to just roll it, which doesn't get kibble out. But, they will learn, with time.

My Great Pyrenees, Ghost, has never shown interest in any toy before we bought this one. I was trying to find him something that would keep him entertained while I was at work and I hit the jackpot. He absolutely loves this toy. He carries it outside with him. He tosses it up in the air for fun. He licks it lovingly for hours. This is a great toy for your pup!

I bought this when a client recommended it. Their dog wouldn't play with it but carried it around. My dog is Savvy when it comes to enrichment toys. So I bought this for him, but he too found it very challenging and lost interest. I solved the issue by adding smaller sized treats (thumb tack size) to the toy. As he got better with it I added small and bigger pieces (thumb nail size). It made it more challenging but the big treats are stuck inside. Still figuring out other ways to make it easier, but it is a great toy for teaching fetch.

I have yet to find a treat that works with this toy successfully. We have tried ziggies (Kong brand), Zukes links, Curu soft treats, Cloudstar and other smaller options. My dog actually leaves this toy with the treats still in it after fighting to get the treats out for up to 30 minutes. I've had to use butter knives to pop out the stale treats..I can't be even get them out on my own with my fingers. This is a huge design flaw, therefore I can't recommend.

I have one for each of my dogs. I have the "small" size for my two 75 lb. Boxer mix. One of which is a chewer, and destroys most toys, but not these. My dogs know that once I'm done with the dishes after dinner it's treat time. Their cookies fit perfectly inside. I call it their babysitter or pacifier because of the time alone I get while they're trying to get their treats out. They love this toy!

I love Kong products but this is not meant for strong chewers. I bought 3 of the large ones for my 3 Labradors and within minutes they all chewed the entire end off of the toys and my youngest is only 6 months.
