My highly destructive 11mo old am.staff/pitty/Pyrenees mix is OBSESSED! For a dog who has so readily destroyed probably $300 in "super-chewer" toys over the last 6 months, the fact that THIS is the one he chose to worship blows my mind. Relatively thin material in comparison to the typical Kong toys I buy. For those who get headaches easily: maybe not the best choice. In the middle of a migraine it's the best sound in the world /s
Fabulous toy
Houdini LOVES it. He won't even give it up long enough for me to squeak it!!! Just the right size for a Parsons Russell and one of the few squeaky toys he didn't destroy in the 1st 10 minutes!!!
happy about this toy
This toy is awesome!! I have 2 Australian Shepards and they love to play with this toy. This toy is very tough, they got it right after christmas and still not tore apart. Love it.
Waste of Money
This toy was destroyed within one week. It's ripped and has no squeak. I could understand if I had a large dog, but my dog is a Boston Terrier. I'll never waste my money again on Kong.
Great for Aggressive Chewers
My 72-pound English Lab is definitely an aggressive chewer. She loves this toy because she can chew it to her heart's delight and it has a squeaky in the center. What could better? I like this toy because it keeps her from chewing our remote controls!
Dolly’s best friend!
Dollly has had two of these dumbbells for 7 years, and they are starting to show their age. Because she is very dependent on her “Squeaky” thought it best to make sure there’s backup. She takes it everywhere, to the Vet, groomer, potty, rides in car, she’ll cry and wine if it gets stuck under car seat, sleeps with one paw or head on Squeaky. Greets everyone with it in her mouth and expects them to throw it for her to chase. She even barks and growls with it in her mouth. If we hide it, the hunt is on until she finds it. Any other rubbery toy she tears apart within half hour. She doesn’t tear apart cloth toys just rubbery toys, Has same cloth toys since we rescued her 7 years ago. Life with out the Squeaky Dumbbell would be unbearable. Thank You for such a durable toy.
don't waste your money
3 minutes after my bulldog got this Kong toy, she had the squeaker out, caught her before she ate it and had both ends chewed off. Don't waste your money on this Kong toy.
Noisy but very entertaining!
Our pup loves this toy! He will sit and gnaw on it by himself for a decent amount of time. However, if you give it to your dog hoping for a moment of peace to be on the phone or focus on something, good luck! The squeaker is a good one, for the dog, but can be annoying to owners as it can seem loud and doesn't end. I think that's what Ace loves about this toy is the noise and feel of it.My guy can ruin a squeaky toy pretty quickly but this one has held up pretty well. We love to play fetch with it, it does have a fun bounce to it. We have used it carefully inside and outside. When it gets too much my teens will hide it from him for a while and when it comes back out he really has a good time!
