This was the first ball toy my sister's cat showed any interest in (he ignores foam or mylar balls completely). Success - he immediately began playing with it. Unfortunately, less than 24 hours later I looked up just as he swallowed something that looked like a small dark marble from the ball - which he had easily torn open. I threw away the remaining catnip sachet and straw. I will save the second ball for a cat that doesn't have as strong a desire to tear up toys. How about putting the straw covering over something sturdier like a wool ball?

Our cat is finicky with her play. A toy must be perfect for her to decide to get up and play. She LOVES this toy! It's a perfect weight, not too light, not too heavy. That said, we can only let her play these balls while supervised. They are delicate and she could rip these apart in a matter of seconds. If we did let her go crazy with it, I'm concerned that pieces could get lodged in her throat. Pet parents stay cautious with these straw balls!

I got these for my cat to bat around, but he tore them apart instead. He has been playing with the pieces for weeks, so I feel like we still got some value out of them. He would have played with them longer, but I needed to vacuum. We are going to get more and let him play with them on the porch, that way our apartment isn't covered with a fine layer of straw that gets tracked around.

Did not see anywhere on your website that these contained cat nip. We never give cat nip to our cat. Was very disappointed when we received them to see that the package stated that they were treated with cat nip. They looked like something that our seven year old cat would love! Went into our trash can.

These are MiMi's favorite. Light weight and filled with a bit of catnip these are perfect for a game of fetch with your favorite feline. Easy to carry and easy to bat under something I can't reach.

Be careful where you walk. The first day I stepped on the one ball I got out; crushed flat. The second ball is still being played with. Sure glad there were two balls.

These just arrived and within 2 minutes of giving these to my cats they broke. The material is flimsy and not worth the money.

My two kittens absolutely love these, the sound and texture. Just a little expensive for what they are.

I sent these as a gift for indoor kitties: "Hey you two, did kitties get their package? Was delivered yesterday. We did! Slushie tore the balls to pieces in like 5 minutes but they love the cat nip lol" Kinda pricy for 2. Should have more for better value!
