Espresso and the Catnip Beaver
My cat Espresso loved this toy. He was a mess. That poor beaver didn’t know what hit him. He is an older cat. It is good to see him active.
It wasn't a hit
Cosmo doesn't care for this toy. I tried it with the cat nip it came with and fresh catnip from the garden. I slid it across the floor and he chased it down. Then he sniffed it and meowed and walked off. It was the same for the dried and fresh catnip. He has no interest in it at all. I'll probable give it to my sister for her cat or her little dog.
New fave toy
My cat absolutely adores his new beaver! Well made product from Kong: can't go wrong! Smaller than I was expecting but it's perfectly sized for my boy to carry & toss around like he caught an actual mouse. Love that he's pleased and getting more exercise.
Smaller than expected but great
I thought this would be a little bigger but my cat loves it. The pouch to fill with catnip is roomy and holds quite a bit.

So Glad to have found these again! I originally bought these about 4 years ago, and my most energetic cat LOVES these refillable toys by Kong. I love that they're easy to refill with catnip, and washable with hot water and vinegar, followed by a thorough rinse. I bought another popular brand's version of these recently when I couldn't find these, and was disappointed to find the pocket was so small, and the velcro so tight, I can't even get my thumb in it to open it sufficiently to pour catnip in it. Looking forward to another 4 years of excited kitty activity with these Kong replacements. Thanks Kong for making a toy I can count on to entertain him!
Molly LOVES THIS!!
My cat Molly has never been one to really play with catnip, but she loves carrying her kick toys around. I decided to get something a bit smaller that she could more easily carry, and she LOVES THIS THING. it is by and far her favorite toy, paws down. It will migrate all around the house overnight. The poor thing may have to be washed soon, though, because it's taken a thorough licking. It's always damp when we go to refill it!
Highly Recommend
This is my cat's favorite toy, hands down. She doesn't go crazy over catnip, but she loves to toss this around and chase it down when we throw it for her. She's a small girl (6lbs and adorably little) and I think part of the reason she favors this over other toys is because it's a little smaller. Easier for her to fling and more fitted to her size. I just bought three more from Chewy in case they stop making them because she loves it so much. I can't imagine her losing this one and not having a replacement.

Crazy and wild
The toys with the loaded catnip became the toys which everyone had to play and share. They shared and then they started hogging the beaver and the squirrel.
This makes me a Kitty Super Mom FINALLY!
I have bought so many catnip toys for my fur baby only to get that look. You have to be kidding me mom! I filled this one up with the entire vial of catnip that came with it making sure it went out to all the Beaver feet etc. By this time my hands smelled strongly of catnip so I rubbed them all over the outside of the Beaver. I handed it to my Kitty and she took it and had the most delightful afternoon! She is still laying with it as I write this. This is a winner!
