is there stuffing in it?

This product is manufactured in China.

Does the rope inside dissolve inside the digestive track in the dog or does it have the potential to cause a blockage? I know some of the new ropes are biodegradable material that dissolve once the dogs and just it.

The rope is 100% cotton and although cotton is naturally biodegrade, KONG has not added any biodegradable enhancements to this rope. Dog products in general have a potential to cause blockages but that has many variables to consider like size of material, size of dog, etc. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pet safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

Teddy was so excited to receive his Hill’s Peanut Butter and Banana soft savory Chews! I gave him 4 of those I broke each into fourths. After he had his treats he loves so much, I reached into the box and removed the labels from his Kong knotted Squirrel Toy. He sat and waited for me to hand him his new chew toy. Then he pranced off with it in his mouth. He was so happy for a new toy. He carried it around in whichever room we were going to be in throughout the day. My dog loves it. She carries it everywhere.

Although the squeaker is dead, it’s still in one piece. I put it in the wash with no problems. I think she will have this for years to come.
