WE HAVE 8 HUSKIES (2 ARE MOM AND DAD, 6 ARE 1 1/2 OLD PUPS WEIGHING IN AT AROUND 45 TO 70 POUNDS)!! WE HAVE ONE PUP THAT ABSOLUTELY LOVES HIS KONG BALLS!! HE WILL PLAY WITH IT ALL DAY LONG, TOSSING IT UP, PAWING AT IT, KICKING IT AND CHASING IT. THE KONG BALLS ARE THE ONLY BALLS WE HAVE EVER BOUGHT AND THEY NOT BE DESTROYED. THESE HUSKIES ARE VERY DESTRUCTIVE BUT THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT THE KING BALLS, THEY WILL NOT DESTROY THEM!!
My dog is only 47 lbs and she broke this ball in the same day i got two and both of them are done. I gave it 3 starts because my dog really enjoyed them while it last.
When my 7 month corgi was much smaller, I would stuff these with peanut butter and put it in the freezer. He loved it and had a great time rolling it across the floor. It was good for his brain too, because he learned how to use his paws to hold it in place.
I have a 20lb pup and she absolutely loves to chase after and play with this ball. I fill it with spray cheese/peanut butter then freeze it and it keeps her pretty occupied!
It's a great Kong ball, but honestly my puppy hasn't played with it because it's too big and heavy for a puppy. But at least it is strong enough he can still use it when he gets bigger. The hole is nice to put peanut butter in, he does enjoy that!!
I still dont have my new puppy but will soon & there is a day or 2 a week that i will have to use the crate so putting peanutbutter inside this should keep her occupied for a while!
Great for a puppy or small breed dog. Great quality.
This ball is VERY heavy and dense. My pup cannot pick it up. I would only think this would work for a very large puppy. I guess because it was classified as a puppy toy I thought it would be lighter, easier to use. My pup cannot pick it up. The hole in the middle seems odd.... it's too big for small treats, they simply fall right out but too small for the dog to use the hole to pick up the ball. Odd design. I suggest the Kong Tire toy instead.
If you read the title, this is good because it is better to roll around than the normal Kong, but its TERRIBLE to put stuff in because the holes at the top and bottom just go straight through and there is no indent in the middle so any kibble will immediately fall out, making play time last around 4-5 secs. Would not recommend.
Too heavy for my Pomeranian. She doesn’t play with it at all.
