This seat measures 12 inches deep x 16 inches wide x 8 inches tall. To determine if your pet may be able to lay down in this booster seat we recommend comparing their body length to the seat dimensions.

What is the difference between this Kurgo Heather and the Kurgo Journey?

The difference between the two models besides the colors available is the liners. The Heather model has a removable inner liner while the liner on the Journey seat is not removable.

Does the dog need a harness or do you attach it to the dogs collar

These booster seats are not crash tested. This seat is designed to help your dog see out the window and keep them contained and not on your lap, where they could cause a distracted driving accident.

Purchased to keep my Boston terrier from raoming throughout the car and my lap. She wasn't sure at first but now jumps right in. I feel better with her hooked because I live in a high traffic city. Was able to adjust height of carrier so she could see out the window easier by adjusting the straps. Easy to attach to the front seat of a mini cooper.

Bridget loves it.

We weren't sure our pup would be willing to use a booster seat, and stay calm in the car. But she settled right in and slept most of the time.

Very disappointing

I bought this car seat for my 16 lb doxiepoo for Christmas '22. It's July 23, and I've only taken Maggie for a half dozen car rides since Christmas. I'm elderly

I bought this car seat for my 16 lb doxiepoo for Christmas '22. It's July 23, and I've only taken Maggie for a half dozen car rides since Christmas. I'm elderly & I don't go out much. Yesterday, I put her into her car seat & the straps completely broke. There's no way to repair them. I paid over $70 for this car seat & I'm not able to afford a replacement. The last one I had lasted 9 years. This one only 6 mos with extremely limited use. I would like a better replacement. Now, after 9 1/2 years of occasional rides in the safety of a car seat, Maggie has none. I'm terribly upset.

My dog used to puke in the car pretty regularly, especially if I drove longer than 5 minutes. She never seemed to enjoy car rides until I got this car seat. I make

My dog used to puke in the car pretty regularly, especially if I drove longer than 5 minutes. She never seemed to enjoy car rides until I got this car seat. I make the straps short so that the seat is high enough that she can sit in it and see out the windows. Seeing out the windows is a game changer for her, and now I can tell she is very relaxed when I drive. Another bonus, this car seat does not activate the airbag in the passenger seat, where I have her situated. This is an important safety factor, as I wouldn't want to risk her being in the passenger seat where the airbag could go off and hurt her. Highly recommend!

I have tried a couple other seats and they were not high enough and one started to fall apart. This seat is sturdy and adjusts to a proper height and still be safe

Well worth the money!

I purchased this seat after looking at numerous ones for sale at multiple price ranges but kept coming back to this one. It provides all the necessary features

I purchased this seat after looking at numerous ones for sale at multiple price ranges but kept coming back to this one. It provides all the necessary features I was looking for at a mid range price. My 7 pound yorkie rides comfortably and I like the pocket on the driver side for putting my cell phone in. All the straps are well manufactured and adjustable. The removable bottom cushion makes it easy for clean up if necessary.
