Once the sling is on in the morning, you can leave it on your pup during the day as long as they're comfortable wearing it. Just tie the handles together so they won't get tangled. The dog will be able to go to the bathroom while wearing the sling.

Makes a world of difference

well constructed

This has not worked well for Blue as he's used to my guiding him with his harness but I have had to use it to get him down stairs just picking him up with it. I

This has not worked well for Blue as he's used to my guiding him with his harness but I have had to use it to get him down stairs just picking him up with it. I got a medium though Blue is 46#. The large, needed according to his weight, was too large. Blue measures 27" around. He struggles with getting his back end to work the way it should. He walks in circles and has trouble getting on his feet. The thought is his nerve endings are just not getting signals they should.

Great Purchase

I bought this harness sometime in the year 2020 I believe. I used is wonderfully for my 14 yo basset with bad hips. I then used it for my 13 yo chocolate lab successfully

I bought this harness sometime in the year 2020 I believe. I used is wonderfully for my 14 yo basset with bad hips. I then used it for my 13 yo chocolate lab successfully. I then used it for my 14 yo beagle. And then for my 11 yo mix breed. All large senior dogs I rescued. And the Labra was a huge help with each. Now, my soul dog, my 14 yo mix breed that I adopted as a puppy, has just put the harness on today as she is having a tough time with getting up. All my dogs have been large size and the large has fit each well. I love that you can secure it on the dog and set the handles to just the right length. I have definitely gotten my money's worth out of the Labra sling. And I definitely recommend it.
