Slips too much - Waste of money

By TrixiesMom on Jul 15, 2021

My dog torn both hind CCLs and we bought this to help with our conservative cruciate management and avoid surgery. At 61 lbs it was hard to carry her up/down the stairs to our yard. I saw the reviews and thought this would be a good option, although it was a little more $$ than I wanted to spend. How wrong I was! I measured correctly but this product is simply a dud or not good for large dogs. As soon as you get it on, it slips down to the hips. No matter how snug I got the fit, the sling still wouldn’t stay on her chest. So basically, I wasted money and still have to carry her out to potty. Carrying your dog is not an option if you have physical limitations. So take my advice: don’t buy My dog torn both hind CCLs and we bought this to help with our conservative cruciate management and avoid surgery. Just what I needed

By Char on Aug 5, 2021

My 80 lb. Aussie hurt her back leg, got this sling to help get her up and down the steps. It worked great! We are in our 70's, needless to say we needed the help. The only thing I would suggest is measure your pet correctly, this was a little small and I didnt want to return and wait for another, we needed it now. Even tho it was a little tight, it still worked great!

    Won't stay put

By Rick on Oct 6, 2021

No matter what you do it will slide to the rear of the dog. It will not work on a dog that has a chest larger than waist.

    Life Saver for my back

By Karie on Jul 2, 2021

My 13 year old boxer is losing her legs and has problems squatting to potty. She doesn't like it on her all the time as it slips as her body is much thinner in the back. That being said I love it. I use it like a sling to help her up to walk and to potty. Saves my back when getting her into a standing position. It has stopped her from falling and being hurt. I wish I had purchased this sooner.

Good product to small for my dog

By Shay on Aug 7, 2021

Very good material. I have a big girl 220lb biggest sling I could find still didn’t fit unfortunately. The handles could be a little steadier

    Just what I needed

By MommaBear on May 30, 2021

My dog, 11 1/2 yo GSP/Dalmatian mix, 50#, recently lost control of her hind legs due to severe arthritis, fused vertebrae, and nerve damage. We are trying various treatments, but in the meantime the only way she can get around is for me to assist her. This is a solid product, with adjustable length handles. The Velcro is excellent. I leave it on her all day so we don't have to fuss every time we go out (every few hours). It fits loosely and would slip off her rear end when we're not walking, so I use a carabiner clip on the handles to hook it to her harness. At first I thought the loose fit was a problem, but it makes it more comfortable when she's sitting with it on. This works perfectly! The handles are long so you’re no having to bend over to far.

I ordered this sling for my dog who recently had Cruciate Ligament Surgery. It works great! Helps her walk and very helpful to get her in and out of the car.
