The Lactulose, itself has been helping my very old kitty boy with his poops. Before this he would have to get enemas almost weekly and it was no fun for anyone. Now he seems to be having an much easier time in the bathroom. I really have to give a shout out to the Vet techs I talked with, my personal Vet's office was having issues getting the prescription request and the Chewy vet techs helped out so much by sending repeated faxes and getting a follow up done.

Lactulose

It comes with a syringe, which I love. Easy to use and Molly don't mind it at all. It came well protected. Excellent Customer Service as always. Right on time

Our cat Trouble is 14 and was acting sluggish. Trouble's vet prescribed Lactulose after a check-up visit. I mixed the Lactulose with his food and he lapped it up. After using it for 1 week he was able to have normal BM, and he acted like he felt much better. I was happy to find Lactulose available on Chewy, and Chewy was even able to contact Trouble's vet for a prescription. Adding the Lactulose to Trouble's food has helped him feel good again. Getting it through Chewy has been much more affordable than the vet. Make sure you have your pet checked by a vet first to make sure there is not a health issue that needs addressed.

Compared to the Lactulose I have gotten from our local Vet, this is a thinner, not as potent product. Serena has not been able to produce stool as easily or as much as when we use the product from our local vet. I guess we will have to go back to paying a bit more for what works!

Much Cheaper than Vets Office

This is the same Rx that our vet uses. He did approve this and it is saving us a ton of money keeping our cat healthy.

I was paying $22 for four ounces at the vet. My only complaint is that it is hard to draw the medicine into an oral syringe to dose it properly due to the fact that the bottle does not have a stopper. But I will figure out the best way to do it!
