Could I blend this up a bit to smaller pieces for my parakeet first? The reviews say they don’t like it. Wondering if smaller pieces would work.

It would be perfectly safe to chop it into smaller pieces. They also offer a Canary Pellet as well as Finch granules, which already come in a smaller form.
