How wide is the brush? I don’t see that measurement listed anywhere.

Answer by CatLover2017Jul 23, 2025
It’s probably only about two inches wide across the top…the perfect size for brushing a cat’s forehead between their ears. It’s tiny but mighty! I love this brush!

The product name and description say the brush has plastic tips on each bristle, but in the photo the bristles appear to be without a plastic tip. Which info is correct?

Answer by ChewyMay 13, 2021
This brush features plastic tips on each bristle prevent irritation of your pet's soft, sensitive skin. Please reference the image below for a better image of the coated tips. Please note it is the same brush however it is in a different color.

What's the difference between this one and the cat version?? I see that they are the exact same length. Thanks!

Answer by ChewyJul 23, 2018
The Li'l Pals Coated Tips Dog Slicker Brush is scaled down to the perfect proportions for petite pups, while the Li'l Pals Coated Tips Cat Slicker Brush is scaled down to the perfect proportions for pint-sized felines.

Is this brush made in the USA?

Answer by ChewyAug 13, 2020

My standard-size doodle has huge fluffy feet. Our regular large size slicker brush just wasn’t getting where it needed to go, especially when she was standing while being brushed. I’d compare it to trying to shave your legs with a comically large razor - you’d miss your knees and ankles and anywhere that wasn’t completely flat. Enter: this comically tiny slicker brush. It’s perfect for brushing around her feet and ankles, as well as other small places like her snout. Her foot is bigger than this brush.

Yep, it's tiny for small areas at a time

I love the soft tips. My shih-poo hates getting brushed and I can't blame her, her hair tangles each day. It's like microfiber hair, I don't know how else to describe

I love the soft tips. My shih-poo hates getting brushed and I can't blame her, her hair tangles each day. It's like microfiber hair, I don't know how else to describe it. But she gets brushed in the morning and by next morning, tangles. This brush does pull some but it's so much gentler than a slicker brush. And since she's dainty, this tiny brush gets a little at a time which works for us.

It's really, really small

In accordance with my poor sizing calculations online. This brush head is smaller than the palm of my child's hand. Needless to say great for a small pooch but

It’s tiny

I didn’t know they made brushes this small. Not what I wanted for my puppy. Might work on a small cat

Love it!

I have a little Yorkipoo and it is the perfect size! She loves being brushed with it, no hassles at all! It is small enough that using it on her legs is not a problem

I only wish I could get this brush in a bigger size for my miniature poodle. I've used this brush on my toy poodles for years. It's by far the best brush I've ever purchased. It gets into the coat and really fluffy them up. Love the coated tips, thst makes it gentle.

This was much too small.

I think the visual picture online was a bit misleading in regards to the size of the brush

This little brush is perfect for the little dog in your life. The bristles are sturdy but not sharp on delicate skin. They rake out any fluff from beneath the outer coat and sends the pup into brushing pleasure. If you have a puppy she may think the brush is a toy so keep it up high!

My person got me one of these several months ago, and I love it. I ask her to brush me, especially my face., at least once a day. Recently, she panicked and bought 2 extra when the first one got lost for a few days. (I may or may not have pushed it off the table.) But now we have 3, one for each room I like to be brushed in.
