Lixit Mini Rabbit Feeder & Water Fountain, 48-oz

This product did not work well for water. It continously kept adding water, bring the bowl water level too high. Our bunny would spill it and it made a mess. On the other hand, using it as a food feeder worked perfectly! It's been such a relief all week not having to check her bowl twice a day or worry about forgetting. It's been a nice reassurance that she's taking care of at least in the food department. Definitely recommend this if you need a food feeder.

I was always refilling my bunny's water, sometimes two times a day. it was spilling and over flowing, complete messy hassle. This little watering device is perfect for a smaller bunny. He's loving it. And I only have to fill it every other 4th day. Highly recommend. I think if your bunny is really big, it would turn it into a toy, but my little bun loves it and doesn't bother it.

My Rabbit never understood the water bottles and he's always needing refills during the day with his water bowl. The water fountain is perfect size to fit in his home, he's not running out of water everyday, and no chance of him knocking it over.

We order to theatres want to use his water and want to use her food. These are for our 2 rabbits. We are going away for 3 days and they cannot be without food for more than 24 hours. Actually not even more than 8 hours. So we use these ended an experiment to see how it would work if we were gone for 3 days. They came through with flying colours and there was lots of water left and lots of food. Rather than give them complete pellets, we there the hay with the pallets so that when they pulled out the Hey they were given some pellets. We love you so much were ordering another one for a different Room in the house to use as water.

Although I do like this item, I got it to stop my bunny from flipping her food dish, causing it all to fall out. But, she still ends up flipping and making most of the food come out.

I used to have to fill a small water bowl multiple times a day for my <4lb bunny before I got this one. If you’re using it correctly (water side not the food side), it should work like a dream, it’s just a little hard to assemble sometimes but definitely worth it. So cheap and great design and it lasts me about 3 days between refilling. Now I don’t have to worry about her when I go to work all day!

I bought this for my bunnies because they are constantly spilling their water all Over their house. And it always ran out before I got home to refill. This product was the perfect solution to that problem. The water comes out perfectly and never spills over anymore. Easy to use and screw the top on . I’m so glad I Bought this.

This is a great option for a rabbits waterer. It’s got a sturdy base and doesn’t leak like the water bottles do. I haven’t used it for food, but I feel like it would work well if you’re gone for a long weekend .

Terribly hard to get the water side screwed on. The general idea is good but needs better execution. Two rabbits like it. 2 turned it over. So be sure you have a secondary waterer if you use it.

I was hesitant picking this up due to the bad reviews of water gushing out. Now I understand how that's happening for some people: there's TWO sides to the base. One side is 'food', with a wide opening. Other side is for 'water', with a tiny opening. IF you use the CORRECT side for water, you will NOT get the bowl gushing and filling to the brim. The bowl will only fill halfway. It's the most brilliant design I've seen. I much prefer this over water bottles, since those are difficult to clean, and a bit unreliable.
