I think I got a dud

My cat loves silvervine. She goes crazy. But she walked away from this. I don't know if I got an older one and the smell was just faded or what, but she won't play with it at all. I even tried putting it in loose catnip (with silvervine) and she will get the flakes off of it and then leave the toy.

The Shark Attack Was Immediate

Our recently adopted adorable and perfect cat does not really like Catnip! A first for me, a cat parent of many years. By mistake I bought her a silvervine toy and she went happily nuts. The arrival of this shark also prompted a ferociously happy total nuts attack. I am glad I did not choose the crawfish with the legs because I fear those would have been instantly ripped from his body. The shark withstood the initial attack very well and remains in one piece as a "most favorite" toy.

A dud for my cat

You'd think we have an advantage living in Florida but unfortunately this is another plush toy that he doesn't care for. It came in great condition, so we keep it to decorate a little alcove under our desk.

CATS LOVE THIS

This shark was buy 2 get 1 free, so I am certain that I ordered 3. I also ordered a couple other toys. I only received one with my shipment and thought that maybe I would get the other two later, and the receipt said "free" next to the item. Well the other two sharks never arrived so I just called Chewy and the rep said that it was free because I bought two other toys for the same B2G1 :( I know that I ordered three because I have 9 cats and I could never buy just one catnip toy, I learned that lesson the hard way. So now it is out of stock. This toy is so adorable and my cats love it.

Loved & Thoroughly Destroyed

My cat LOVES this toy. I was going to give it to him later but as soon as I opened the box it was in he dove inside and would not let me touch it to even get it off the packaging. He managed to pull it off himself and didn't leave it alone for over an hour. I appreciate his enthusiasm, but unfortunately the toy didn't last the night before he'd thoroughly shredded multiple holes and started yanking stuffing out. I had to take it away because I was worried he'd eat the cotton. I eventually pulled out all the innards and packet of catnip/silvervine and gave it back. He's flinging the shark's empty corpse around as I type this. I'd remove a star or two for longevity/durability, but honestly he had such a good time with it that I'll likely buy one or two more as special gifts later. But I'll also have to supervise any time he has it due to the risk of him eating the innards. Great toy vs rowdy 2 year old cat: Cat wins.

cat loves this!

Bought this for my new cat along with some other toys to help build his confidence & play more after being recently adopted & quite fearful. I don’t think the Silvervine affects him since he just snuggles with it, but a great and cute toy regardless. He took to it right away. Maybe when he comes out of his shell more he’ll play with it, but for now I’m okay with it being a comfort toy for him :)

Fin-tastic Toy!

My cats love all MadCat toys. The silvervine and catnip mix is irresistible to all of them, even the older ones. The toys are well made and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
