two of our dogs adore these for just noshing on - they are baby destroyers, so these make for a nice distraction/redirection from the stuffed babies. $2-3 for the small ones and they last a few weeks with nightly noshings before they fray enough to make me nervous and I toss the remains. I find the Mammoth brand rope toys hold up longer/better, and don't shed like others - meaning, its harder for my dogs to get bits off of them and ingest them.
My AmStaff puppy seemed excited to get this large rope toy, so excited that in two short play sessions he had unraveled the knot on one end and had a big mess of frayed rope that I had to toss out the day after receiving the toy. If you have a big puppy who is an aggressive chewer, skip this one.
