Do I understand the instructions correctly, the product is a leave in conditioner? It is not washed out after application? Thank you.

This conditioner can be used as a leave-in or rinsed out, depending on hair type and desired look.
I am currently fostering a 6 week old puppy. Is this safe to use to give her a bath with?

The Mane 'n Tail Pet Conditioner is not suitable for puppies or kittens.
Does it spray on from the bottle or do I have to dilute it? Also, does it dry quickly?

You may apply without washing, or dilution. Use just enough to give desired look. Apply to entire length of hair. The amount used will vary depending on the volume and length of hair. A wet, glossy look will appear until hair and skin absorbs formula. After fully absorbed, hair looks and feels silky.
Can this Conditioner & Shampoo be used on small breed furbabies?

How often do you really use conditioner on a horse?

I rarely use conditioner on my horses. They get baths weekly but usually the shampoo and rinse process takes long enough that they’re ready to be out of the wash rack by the time they’re 100% clean and rinsed off. I’ll come back with detangler or leave in conditioner once they’ve had the chance to dry. I’ve used this conditioner to comb dreads out of rescue horses, it takes about a third of the bottle to get through a matted tail, but it helps a lot by decreasing the amount of hair that I’ve had to cut out. Nevertheless I don’t regularly comb dreads out since I usually just bathe my own horses and lesson horses, so I started mixing some conditioner into the shampoo sud bucket and it makes the horses a little softer. I still go through about 5 bottles shampoo per 1 bottle conditioner but I like to keep it around.

For human usage as well

I use this brand of lotion and it's been the best of the best. So I decided to use the conditioner and shampoo. It's the best shampoo and conditioner I've ever used! This brands products are fantastic!

Helps with knots

I use this on my horses manes and tails which get very tangles, especially my Arab. It makes it much easier to remove all the knots pain free.
