The air pump should be installed by following either of the two recommended methods:
Place the air pump on a surface lower than the water level of the aquarium. To avoid damage from accidentally spilled water, do not place the air pump directly below the aquarium. Important: It is highly recommended to always use a Check Valve (sold separately) in the airline between the air pump and the aquarium. The Check Valve will help prevent water from siphoning out of the aquarium through the air hose and into the pump in the event of a power failure, or when removing filters and other air-driven accessories from the aquarium.
Place the air pump on a surface higher than the water level, such as a shelf. The surface should be at least 12 inches (30 cm) higher than the water level of the aquarium, but not be positioned directly above the aquarium. The surface should have a raised edge to prevent the air pump from sliding off. Use a Check Valve (sold separately) in the airline between the air pump and the aquarium to prevent back-siphoning.
I bought this to use in my 75 gallon tank with a 15.7" bubble bar. This pump is great!!! It is quite as long as it is not touching against the wall or tank stand due to vibrations . I have mine on the floor between the wall and the stand. Works great. I would definitely buy this again.
Pretty good product

Works great, enough power for 75 gallon tank. Only issue is that is vibrates, which the instructions said could happen, and if it’s on a shelf it may eventually slide off. So I used adhesive tape to secure it to the shelf. Then the shelf vibrates against the wall quick fix with small amount of quilt batting between wall & shelf. Now is running silently. Probably wouldn’t happen if air pump were in the floor but in my situation that was not possible. Overall, good product.

Pump works well but pamphlet states need for regulator, not included. Reason is you only get one power and that can create large and fast bubbles. Should come with regulator or have one built in. I got a regulator a few days later and works much better.
Didn't work in Our tank.

I can't recommend as it wouldn't work in our 50/55 Gal tank. Even w/water Level @ 50 gal

Excellent pump, manages to do duel pumping
with no need for valve control.
Both tubes pump at about the same pressure.
Worth the money.

This was bought for a nano tank to replace and old one that died/suddenly became loud. While this one works just fine it is not as quiet as I expected.
Nice quiet, little pump

I bought the Marina 100 for my 29 gallon tank to replace a loud air pump that was driving me nuts. This little pump is pretty quiet, and provides a nice air bubble output. My fancy guppies enjoy swimming against the gentle current.
so far, so good

The size "75" is quiet and efficient running a sponge filter in a 20-gallon tank.
