should have jumped on this sooner
I have a 15 gallon betta tank and the old filter I had was bulky, had too strong a flow (even when I opted for a 10 gallon filter instead) and I’ve disliked it for years. This filter is GREAT! Honestly, if I still kept guppies I wish I had it for that. The flow is adjustable, it’s got a sponge cover on the intake (perfect for big slow males with fancy fins) and the only part that takes up space in the tank is the intake, which is small. I’m about to buy a 10 gallon one to keep on hand for my smaller betta tanks. Love it!
quietest filter ever!
As some of the other reviews have stated, after a few weeks my filter began to vibrate a little. After ensuring that the intake valve was fully clicked into place, I haven’t had issues since! This is absolutely the quietest filter I’ve ever used. Only minor complaint is that there’s very little movement on the surface of the water so it allows for a little buildup of biofilm, but nothing regular water changes don’t solve
broke after a couple of days
It was working perfectly for a couple of days until when I woke up I heard the filter clicking and the water wasn’t flowing. Very disappointing
okay but...
i bought 3 of these. at first they were great. especially for tight spaces. and very quiet. after a while, all 3 of them started to vibrate really bad and get louder. even after being cleaned. it will drive you mad trying to stop the vibration and the vibration itself. i will be looking for other small filters unfortunately. i had hopes for these.
Marina slim s-10 power filter
I love this slim filter. Fits great on my new 10 gallon aquarium. Love that it already has a sponge on the intake so my baby shrimps don't get sucked up. Also it has a place to turn up or down the water flow. Best of all it self primes incase of power outage. I was even able to run a small bag of purigen. Works great. Thank you.

Needed this filter to replace one with a damaged part. Filter is quiet and working fine after 2 weeks. Super great customer service by Chewy.

barely works
This is the worst filter I have ever purchased! It is complete garbage and barely even works! Save your money and frustration and get a different brand!
Check for cracks!
The first filter I got had a hairline crack in it that I didn't notice and it dripped on my plug and started a small fire. Customer service was very helpful and the second filter worked fine. My tank is nice and clean. Just be sure to check over your new filter to make sure it's whole!
Best filter ever owned!!
This is the absolute best filter I have ever bought! Easy to clean love the clear design and price was perfect. I love its adjustability inside tank and also a way to level it externally to whatever tank you put it on. Love the easy to add filters and adjustable flow also. Overall would definitely buy again it is 5 stars and better than any other I have ever owned.
