  • Amazingly Accurate

I gave the thermometer a few days to adjust and its perfect! I use it for my bettas so the 'tropical' green area is very helpful. The numbers are a bit small and in certain angles its hard to see the line. I love how they stick right to the inside of the tank though and don't float around.

  • broke during shipping

I don't know how well this product actually works but mine was shipped with my cat litter and the glass broke, so went right into the trash unfortunately. It was not very expensive though so I'm not out that much

  • Pretty Great

The temperature readings seem fairly accurate, and it sticks well to the tank. The trick is to wet the suction cup first. Maybe stick it on under the water when the tank is full... I can't get it off. You've got to be careful not to yank too hard or you'll crack or bust your tank (if it's plastic). If you have fingernails, you might be able to slip one under the suction cup. You may be wondering why you'd want to remove it. If you don't have a tank vacuum (store bought or homemade) then you'll have to remove it every now and then to get the slimy stuff off of it.

  • I didn't think I'd be disappointed in a thermometer.

But this thermometer isn't good for aquariums. Sure, it shows you the green zone, but really, that small little green area is actually between 60 and 80s degrees. Its hard to get an exact read.

  • Disappointed

    By on

The packaging was mediocre. The tape was applied wrong so that the items in the box could have slipped out. There was no filler to stop them from breaking or cracking. The item itself if great.

  • Great, easy to use thermometer!

So easy to use and our betta fish thinks it's a toy and swims in between in and the glass.

  • Easy to read & inexpensive

Great little thermometer. Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Plus, since it's "old school," it will still work when the power is out. Green area is actually handy.

This is my favorite thermometer to use in my aquariums because it doesn't take up much space, it's easy to read and well made.
