I have a baby Sulcata. Do these pellets have enough calcium for his dietary needs or is powdered calcium also needed?

This food contains a minimum of 1.85% Calcium and a maximum of 2.35% Calcium on an as-fed basis. We recommend consulting with your vet to determine if these levels are suitable for your pet.
How long will this food last with 2 small turtles

The actual amount of diet the turtles will eat varies with temperature. For best results, feed only the amount of diet the turtles will readily consume in a 24 hour period. Turtles will usually eat floating diet for 15 to 20 minutes, and then bask for a period of time, returning later in the day to consume remaining diet that has sunk to the bottom.
I have a very small RES. I have had him for almost 6 months now. He is the size of a half dollar. I was wondering if the Mazuri pellets are too large for him to eat yet?

Mazuri Aquatic Turtle Food is designed for all life stages of fresh water turtles, including painted and red-eared turtles
Can I give a red foot tortoise this food?

Best Turtle Food Ever

My RES is very picky and only likes to eat shrimp and bananas, because of this she’s been gaining wait, so I’ve been wanting to buy her turtle food. My father used to give her the Tetra food sticks and she absolutely hated them, wouldn’t even bother looking at them. So I ordered her these and she loves them, she goes crazy for them. They also don’t have the most terrible smell which is a plus. GET THESE FOR YOUR TURTLES NOW!!!

BEST Turtle Food

Mazuri and Reptomin are the only commercial aquatic turtle foods I will feed my 3 turtles. And I much prefer Mazuri over Reptomin. It might be more expensive, but it is completely worth it to see my turtles thriving!

Good turtle pellets

I love these pellets they are relatively small so even young turtles (around a year old) can eat them without any risk of choking. Highly recommend these pellets

Great nutrition! He won’t eat it!!!

My online turtle group says the Mazuri turtle food is highly recommended, but Mr Benedict Turtleman doesn’t like it. Guess I go back to Flukers Banquet despite the group!

Happy Turtle!

Feeding Ornate ornatas gets a bit tricky as the traditional diet to keep these lovely box turtles in optimal health varies drastically according to age, as well as environment. They need access to a wide variety of foods, and the access needs to promote foraging skills in addition to providing balanced nutrition. During the spring, summer and fall it is much easier to maintain a wide variety of turtle foods in the garden, including livebearer fish in the pond, crickets, worms and other live/fresh food sources. Brumation dampens their appetite and slows metabolism, but warm days still need to have enticing food available. Mazuri does the trick by floating on the turtle pond. Each little breeze moves the floating pellets, triggering an immediate response. According to the turtle's response, Mazuri Aquatic Turtle Food must taste good, too! So grateful our local zoo made the recommendation to use Mazuri when the turtle is inside, and to individually seal a week's with of food at a time with a Food Saver, so the open bag doesn't go stale.

Best turtle food money can buy

I purchased this food for my very picky yellow bellied slider and to my delight she loves them! I was nervous bc she’s very picky and only ever wants to eat meat. I got these bc of the vegetable and calcium content and Am very happy with it. After a few weeks you can see the difference, she looks much healthier.
