Ducklings should stay on Mazuri Waterfowl Starter Duckling & Gosling Food until they are fully feathered usually around 7 to 9 weeks of age. At that time you would transition them to Mazuri Waterfowl Maintenance Duck & Geese Food.

This waterfowl feed is excellent! The pond where we feed houses several species of ducks and geese as well as turtles and fish. Because this food floats it does not contaminate the water by going to the bottom. The geese and ducks feed first than the turtles and fish get their chance to feast. It's the best food out there for this particular situation.

Ducks liked them more once they were softened by the water. If water feeding is they way you feed than these will work. Las feeding try a softer pellet.

I have a small flock of Sebastopol geese. Compared to the cheaper all flock or duck feed at the local shops, this is well worth the trouble and price. Because this has a lower protein level suitable for adult geese, there’s less risk of angel wing. In addition, there’s no need for a niacin supplement, at least for my girls. One of mine was born with some feet deformities and she wasn’t getting enough niacin with the other brands. Even on our first bag back on the Mazuri, she’s doing much better. I can safely say I’ll be sticking with this brand going forward.

I have researched alot of duck feed to make sure my babies are getting the nutrition they need, and this is the only one that has it all. It floats on water which they love seeking out in the water. It provides just the right protein levels for development. I never had to worry about them developing angel wing as long as they were on this food. I switched feed for a while and came back as they stopped laying eggs. soon as I came back to Mazuri feed they started laying again.
