I switched to these because I was tired of peanuts in the shell being planted in my garden beds by the squirrels. If the peanut is out of the shell, they eat it instead of trying to hide it. It also cuts down on the mess of them throwing shells all over the place for the shelled peanuts they did eat. Highly recommended.

I have a lot of birds that enjoy eating peanuts at my feeder, and I go through quite a lot year round. This is my first purchase of this brand. For some reason,

I have a lot of birds that enjoy eating peanuts at my feeder, and I go through quite a lot year round. This is my first purchase of this brand. For some reason, the birds aren’t eating them. I couldn’t find an expiration date on the bag. Not sure of the reason. Could be that they just prefer the brand I was using before this bag.

Fresh and all good and clean

They are nuts over these nuts

After getting peanuts in the shell, I realized this is the far better way. No longer are the squirrels planting them in the yard and creating a line of mini peanut

After getting peanuts in the shell, I realized this is the far better way. No longer are the squirrels planting them in the yard and creating a line of mini peanut sprouts. They eat them on the spot and leave the bird feeders alone. Chipmunks also enjoy them.

These are not peanut pieces as labeled. These are whole Spanish peanuts.

I prefer peanut pieces or peanut splits because these are going into bird feeders and they are better as splits or pieces. Here, I have to throw cups full of peanuts

I prefer peanut pieces or peanut splits because these are going into bird feeders and they are better as splits or pieces. Here, I have to throw cups full of peanuts into my food processor to try to chop them up a bit. Still okay, just not ideal. I believe the manufacturer should label these accurately and I likely will not purchase again.

The advertisement should supplement the manufacturer's description by adding that it's a bag of Spanish peanuts, not the usual peanut varieties grown in the US

The advertisement should supplement the manufacturer's description by adding that it's a bag of Spanish peanuts, not the usual peanut varieties grown in the US. The squirrels in our area don't like them nearly as much as the type where the dry husk is removed.
