Merrick Classic Puppy Recipe Dog Food is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for growth.
Is the weight on the feeding chart the cuurent weight of the puppy so that the portion size inceraees as the puppy gows?

The feeding chart is divided for puppies 6 to 16 weeks old and puppies 17 to 52 weeks old since as your dog grows older, their nutritional needs change.
Are the vitamins sourced from China ? Does food contain any by-products ?

This food deserves a five star rating, but I am disappointed that Merrick does not make a beef formula puppy food with healthy grain. It only makes a chicken formula with healthy grains. Or else you need to buy grain free, which I am not a fan of and neither is my vet.

I've read most of these reviews. You don't give a food two stars just because your dog doesn't like it. If it made your dog ill, or his/her coat suffered then fine. But each dog is different. My dog is doing good on it so far. But come on people - think.

Diarrhea!!

Unfortunately we had to discontinue using this puppy food because it gave my Aussiedoodle baby diarrhea.

Disappointing

We buy Merricks wet Lil Plates in a variety of recipes. We also use the chicken kibble for snacks. They love it. My girl was pregnant so we fed her the puppy kibble in between meals but she did not like it

Good for our older dog

Are 13 year old golden retriever was losing her appetite after we moved. We were trying many options and found that the additional nutrition in the puppy food and the smaller kibble sizes were a good addition to the other people food we are giving her. She has started putting weight back on and getting more energy. Thanks to the chewy representative for the suggestion!
