Too Many Problems

This product has inconsistent quality, every batch is dramatically different in texture, color and literally the amount of food in the can. Then the order is damaged

This product has inconsistent quality, every batch is dramatically different in texture, color and literally the amount of food in the can. Then the order is damaged in delivery every single time. In addition to basically being shorted a few cans from damage, and sometimes getting cans that are 3/4 filled, Chewy keeps overcharging me for sales tax on my orders. Just a dollar or so each time, but that adds up with a business this large - so what are they doing with all that extra money they are collecting? I’ve complained and have asked for and received refunds, but Chewy does nothing to change their practices. I’m tired of calling to correct companies’ mistakes all the time.

My kitty has a sensitive tummy and the vet recommended alternative protein sources, meaning duck, venison, etc. This duck canned food has a firmer texture, but also some great gravy so you can mix it up and it becomes a perfect consistency. I sprinkle a probiotic over the top and chop it all together and it blends in really well because of the gravy. My kitty meows nonstop when she knows it’s time for dinner and runs over to the food bowl when I put her food down.

Great food but

I can’t really tell if this helped my cat. She has IBD and has been on a strict novel protein diet of rabbit since I found out she could eat it without diarrhea

I can’t really tell if this helped my cat. She has IBD and has been on a strict novel protein diet of rabbit since I found out she could eat it without diarrhea or vomiting. She ate this food just fine, which is important because like many cats, she can be picky. It’s cheaper than Hill’s or Royal Canin so I gave it a go. My cat developed pancreatitis the next day after she ate the food, but also my daughter accidentally gave her chicken so I can’t necessarily blame the food. However, I ended up giving all the rest to my other cat, and he LOVED it. My cat had unfortunate timing with her pancreatitis, and I highly doubt it was the food, but just to be safe I won’t give it to her anymore. Again, the other cat goes crazy for it and always asks for more. So I’ll still buy it for him
