For dogs over 100 lbs., add 1/4 can for each additional 10 lbs. Adjust feeding level to your dog's individual needs. Cover and refrigerate unused portions. Keep fresh water available at all times. If feeding with dry food, reduce wet amount by 6 oz. for every 1/2 cup of dry food.
Over the course of 5-7 days, mix the Merrick food with your pet's current food, continuously increasing the amount of the Merrick while decreasing the amount of the current diet.
My pups gobble up this food with pleasure!! This pate is an even-smooth consistency with no lumps. They love the Chicken formula as well. I was using another high priced food and almost always found undesirable clumps so I decided to try Merrick - we are all happy that I did!!! I am extremely satisfied with the wholesome ingredients as well.
A lot of the can tops were dented. Hard to use and I was concerned they were partially opened
After trying several dry and canned brands of dog food, I was pleased when my 9-year-old rescue Cocker Spaniel was willing to eat this. It's a little pricier than other brands I tried, but it's worth it to me. I mix about 2/3 of a can with a 1/2 cup of dry kibble, in order to firm up her BMs. Another thing I love about this Merrick canned food is the easy open pull tab. Thanks, Merrick!
My dog loves this food! Great consistency, easy open pull tabs, and she does really well on it.
I like the fact that my rescue Beagle(ish) dog loves it but I want it to have Taurine as one of its ingredients and it has none. if it did I would give it 5 stars.
I’d recommend this for a picky eater and a dog that suffers from ear infections with the limited ingredients!!!
I have bought several cases of Merrick limited ingredients, Turkey and rice. I buy two cases at a time. I think it is a good dog food with healthy ingredients, but the last two cases I bought, the texture is definitely watered down. I know Nestle owns Merrick, and I hope they are not deciding to decrease the meat and add more water to increase their profits. The food is expensive now, and Nestle is a multi billion dollar company. It would be a real shame if they are going to do this. Sad that this practice is typical for big companies. Another issue is several of the cans have been dented. I assume that has to do with the warehouse, but who knows?
I had to switch to this after Nutro's canned Limited Ingredient Dog Food disappeared off shelves and on Chewy. After researching similar foods and reading a ton of reviews I decided on Merrick Brand. My boys love this food! It smells good, and has just the right moisture. They had no tummy troubles after eating it. Thank you Merrick! Even if Nutro ever restocks I think we'll stay with this brand.
My 10 lbs. fuss budget loves it and loves her Turkey in any way shape or form! I’ve never seen her eat so fast as now! I think i found a winner!
The only Merreck canned food my Molly will eat ! and not get upset stomach ( Westie)...Limited Ingredient Merreck is great !
