Will not eat it!
I purchased this product for the first time, 4 fur babies needs changes of food. Reviews looked ok.(I'm a huge review reader). I bought case. I always add water to prevent uti. ALL 4 babies turned nose up. Waste of money. Will never order this brand again. Ty chewy for reimbursement. I purchased instincts and they are ok with it
Baby's Got The Beef
My mature cat, Baby, loves beef! It is difficult to find, even in the 'cheaper' moist foods. I am SO HAPPY to have found Chewy's quality food in this 'flavor'!! It's all about keeping BABY happy !!! Thanks, CHEWY !!!
Raffi loves this
My nine year old Raffi is a somewhat picky eater. He loves this food and I feel that Merrick makes a good product . It is a rather solid food so I often add a little bit of water to make sure he is hydrated well.
Loved this flavor
My kitty is about 14 and recently diagnosed with allergies. He really likes this and the turkey one and his choices are very limited!
Formula change :(
This brand and flavor was a hit with my cats for several years. It had a moist but firm, smooth pate texture. The last two times I bought it the food dripping wet and mealy, like very watery oatmeal. With all the liquid there is also less total food in each can. The cats still ate it, but I’m not going to buy more.
Good stuff
Our senior cat with IBD enjoys this food. No problems.
Typically Picky Pet
My cat is pretty picky on a normal day. He is also the type to take two small bites of his food and walk away. He’s an all-day grazer. I honestly was very surprised when I gave him this dish of food, he went to town on it, and ate half the can in one sitting! He never does that! Ever! As for my hubs and I, we were happy to read the ingredient list and see real food listed, which is sadly lacking in many pet foods. We have a winner! I received this item for free in exchange for an honest review.
My cat is picky but this surprised me
My cat has gastroenteritis so we are always very careful in what we feed her. As for her behavior, she is a picky eater by nature. She doesn't like wet food in general and her choice of dry food can be narrowed down to two brands. So when we tried this wet food from Merrick, we didn't get our hopes up but to our surprise, she started tasting it, then slowly eating it. We even had to stop her from consuming it too much or else her tummy would react. But I'm glad that she likes the flavor so now we're adding a third brand to our kitty's food list.
My cats wouldn't eat this product
I wish I could say that my cats loved this, but unfortunately my cats wouldn't eat this product! I have never gotten anything that they weren't interested in. So I'm not sure what it was about this can of food, but they sniffed at it for a while and then gave it a taste and left the rest alone! So I guess I wouldn't recommend this product at all. Or, if you want to try it, I would probably start with just one can instead of getting something in bulk.
Great for picky eaters
My cats are super picky. If they don’t like something, they will literally starve themselves until they get some thing they like! Merrick Purrfect Bistro is one of those foods they will always eat. And, they don’t normally eat beef. They usually turn their nose up at anything that has beef. But, they inhaled everything!!! I will definitely be buying this again.
