This liquid is a lot more than the pills and my cat still doesn’t like the taste. I’ve been experimenting with putting it in the extra gravy soft food and am going to try the lickable treats as well. I also just bought another bottle and going to try the tuna flavor to see if she’ll take that one better.

Compounded chicken flavored methimazole has kept my cat Kobe in good health. Most cat parents know, it is not easy to pill a cat. The compounded liquid makes it easy to administer the correct dose with a treat chaser.

I give my cat a squirt in the mouth twice daily with this medicine. We use the tuna flavor. We have been using it for a long time now with no issues. Because of this medicine my cat is still alive. Does my cat like it? Probably not, but I am not keen on taking meds either, lol.

When I use the pills, I break them up into fine bits with the pill cruncher, stick in 1/3 of her wet food, then put 4 chicken Temptations on top and press them in food. She is addicted to the Temptations so she digs those out with the food and meds too. When she eats that, then I give her the rest of her dinner. I do the same with the liquid. Just give enough to cover pills or liquid, mix a bit, not much, put the Temptations on top, works every time. She looks so much better, thought she was a goner before the Methimazole, she has her feistiness back. I could never syringe it in her mouth, she is much too cranky for that, hidden in wet food is the way to go. Go for it!

My cat is very picky and when I’m out of town, our vet suggested to try an oral version of the meds instead of topical, since he also is very selective with who he lets hold him. Have to mix this in his food, and instantly he knew it wasn’t his usual deal. Couldn’t administer this medication, even when trying to mask it in his favorite chicken flavored cat food.

My cat didn't like it.

My cat didn't like the taste of it in the food and she wouldn't eat. Also, there's a syringe that comes with it and it's hard to measure. I wish it was a droppe

Great price and fast

Was getting my medicine from a pet pharmacy, not chewy. They charges way more and took a week just to fill the order. Chewy is fast and less expensive!

Nervous if she would eat it...

and she loves it!! We chose the tuna flavor and have no problems adding it to her wet food and her eating it up.
