MiconaHex+Triz

MiconaHex+Triz is for use on dogs, cats, and horses.  Available as shampoo, spray conditioner, wipes, and mousse, it’s antimicrobial, antifungal, antibiofilm, and moisturizing. Indicated for conditions responsive to miconazole and/or chlorhexidine.

MiconaHex+Triz Shampoo is an antimicrobial, antifungal and moisturizing shampoo that treats topical fungal and bacterial skin infections and also contains ceramides to aid in moisturizing, repairing and restoring dry, damaged skin. TrizCHLOR 4HC Shampoo is an antimicrobial, antipruritic shampoo that is designed to kill bacteria, fungus, and viruses on the skin and also contains betaine to soothe your pets skin.

My trusted vet recommended this shampoo with Miconazole to help fight a ringworm infection in a foster dog and to ise it on other dogs in my household to prevent infection. The shampoo smells good and leaves the coat soft and pleasant smelling. The price of the larger bottle from Chewy was the same as the smaller bottle from the vet clinic. However, It is still a pricey shampoo. If you are trying to fight ringworm be sure the shampoo contains Miconazole or another antifungal ingredient known to stop this highly infectious fungus! Not all shampoos that say "antifungal" will work against ringworm.

However, you continually use FedEx to ship things to my house and every time something comes from you the packaging is damaged and 9 times out of 10 the product is damaged. In this case, the bottle had been bent and the top popped open and it started to leak.

I kept using it and using it and was only seeing marginal improvements in my dogs coat and allergies over months (he was losing fur). I asked the vet for a medicated shampoo and this was what I was given - in a few washes his patches grew back and now is doing much better. Worth the wait for delivery over buying an OTC version in our case!
