Best harness security in car

I love this harness belt! I bought my Frenchie a lookout dog car seat and the harness security belt clips that came with it were very flimsy and did not lock in

I love this harness belt! I bought my Frenchie a lookout dog car seat and the harness security belt clips that came with it were very flimsy and did not lock in place after adjusting. If I had a car accident, it would have easily pulled to extend all the way out and she’d end up getting seriously injured. I knew I was going to need to replace those with a more secure belt. I found this belt and read the reviews so I thought I’d give it a shot. The belt was very thick, strong and resilient. It easily hooked to the seat headrests and I could extend the length to the appropriate length for her that would allow her to move around without the worry of her going thru the windshield if there were an accident. The locks on the belt are heavy duty and have kept the length where I put it without easily loosing giving her free roam of the car. The belt also comes with. A heavy duty carabiner clip to hook to her harness. I'm really pleased with this harness belt and is so easy to connect to her harness and the design keeps her from getting all tangled up in the belt. I would highly recommend this brand and item.

Value and Great price! Peace of Mind...

We have had other brands that didn't last as long as Mighty Paw Headrest Dog Seatbelt. The plastic parts on the other brands would break on sudden stops. Mighty

We have had other brands that didn't last as long as Mighty Paw Headrest Dog Seatbelt. The plastic parts on the other brands would break on sudden stops. Mighty Paws brand has all metal parts on their seat belts and haven't failed yet. I highly recommend Mighty Paws brand any day of the week. We have 4 of the Mighty Paw Headrest Dog seatbelts, 2 for each vehicle that we own.

Great seat belt - great precaution!

I have one of these on each headrest I have in my car. I attach one to each dogs harness (NOT COLLAR). That way I'm adding an extra layer of security for my fur

I have one of these on each headrest I have in my car. I attach one to each dogs harness (NOT COLLAR). That way I'm adding an extra layer of security for my fur babies. I worry about traffic & crazy drivers. This gives me piece of mind knowing they won't be crushed by an airbag, crash through a window or even get too close to me when I'm driving. It gives just enough room to add security for my 2 fur BABIES, plus they still enjoy looking out the windows. I love the piece of mind that I'm doing everything I can to keep them safe.

Not so safe?

I decided not to put my smaller dog in the front seat for her rides after all, so I didn't actually use this. I wanted her up front by me, but I just don't think

The weight of the material

This Dog Seat Belt is very well constructed and fits nicely under the headrest. When not in use it can be turned around so to allow others to sit in the seat.

Might work better in a different car

The headrest in the back of my car don't adjust for height and the one setting they have allows the buckle to open because one side pushes on the top of the seat

The headrest in the back of my car don't adjust for height and the one setting they have allows the buckle to open because one side pushes on the top of the seat and one pushes on the headrest. If your dog stays still, this may be okay, but mine does not, and has opened this multiple times.
