Vacuuming isn't very easy unless you have a low suction setting. I've found it easier to just shake them out and then wash them.

The Muddy Mat was softer than I had expected, but it still absorbs the moisture and picks up most of the dirt that our senior Beagle mix brings in. It feels thick, and the rubber-like material on the back keeps the mat from moving around. Also, I was pleasantly surprised to find our robot vacuum has no difficulty cleaning the mat without stopping or jamming the vacuum. Thus, the mat receives a daily cleaning with the rest of the area laminate floor. Finally, I appreciated the variety of colors available and the price.

I ended up purchasing 4 of various sizes and colors to match. I thought my dog would miss her old, matted, impossible to vacuum or wash fleecey mats-she loves these!

If you look at the picture, it looks more like a magenta, more pink. I’m disappointed because it wasn’t cheap either. I’m writing this review to warn everyone of the color they are really getting. I just have so many blues and greys already, I was looking forward to a change. I have no where to put this thing!

I live in a condominium community where letting your dog outside means on a leash and for a walk. Since this is not always possible, my do is trained to do her business inside. She typically hits the potty pad, but leaves a trail of urine behind on the tile floor. I purchased 2 Muddy Mats to place alongside the potty pad which captures her drips and keeps me from having to constantly mop the floor. Since the mats are washable, I also don't need to worry about lingering urine smell as a quick wash & dry eliminates the odor.

Kayla has a "drinking" problem - she drinks water, and it goes everywhere (some even makes it in her mouth). The main floor water station is in the kitchen, and it can create a slip hazard. We've tried towels and mats, but water's still everywhere and they get gross quickly, so I figured I had nothing to lose. I am really pleased with the mat. It does indeed absorb water; we haven't had the issue with slippery conditions since we got it. My only complaint is I chose a dark brown color and wish I hadn't. While it hides dirt well, it hides dirt well, if you know what I mean. I need to be careful to keep it washed, and it's easy to forget to toss it in because it looks just fine.

I was skeptical because I've bought other door mats that claim to be super absorbent...but never are. These muddy mats are great. They aren't particularly pretty, but by our backdoor where we come in with wet shoes often, it's perfect. No more tracking wet footprints on our hardwood floors!

They work to keep the floors cleaner

I have 5 muddy mats in different areas of the house. I also have 4 Scottish Terriers that are in and out constantly. The only thing is I have to keep straightening
