One of my sport dogs tore his iliopsoas this past summer, which is a very persistent and painful injury. His recovery was very slow and after 2 months of minimal improvement with physical therapy alone, I began giving him Myos along with Antinol. Within 3 weeks I saw very obvious improvement in his movement, strength, coordination, and overall comfort.

Muscle Wasting on 13 year old doodle

I noticed muscle wasting on my 13 year old but he did have a back injury from slipping on ice last year. We have been on this for just over a week and I am noticing

I noticed muscle wasting on my 13 year old but he did have a back injury from slipping on ice last year. We have been on this for just over a week and I am noticing he is getting up easier (he really moves more like he is 6 but can not jump in the car or on the bed but does fine with steps and the couch). I am hopeful we will continue to see an improvement. I keep testing his back end to see how much we can push and how much more stable he is becoming. He still loves doing therapy dog work so we want those hips to stay strong. He still chases the ball and plays with the other dogs.

One of the most underutilized senior supplements

Wish more people knew about this. My rehab vet office told me about it for my older dog who started to show muscle atrophy. It is pricey but a wonderful addition

Helped regain muscle and loves taste

My dog has a partial acl tear in one of his hinged legs, we’ve been doing hydrotherapy to help strengthen the muscles around the knee. I was recommended Myos by the staff and I like to believe it’s what helped him put back two pound these past 5 months. His leg has regained lost muscle mass, tho we’re not done. He loves the taste and expects it over his meals. His nails do grow back a little bit faster. Since he’s 10 I think we’re just going to continue using it to counter muscle loss from general aging.

We have been using Myos for the last 8 months for our 13 year old spaniel. We started post-operatively when he was diagnosed with cancer and we knew he would be getting less exercise and going through chemotherapy. I do think this product made the difference through his treatment and helped maintain his muscle mass as a senior dog. We started because we noticed some muscle wasting and weight loss in his first few weeks on chemotherapy and after adding to our supplements, we did not have any further problems with his weight or muscle mass. While he still has arthritis, this has helped immensely in improving his quality of life and we continue this supplement for our senior pup even now that he's cancer free. :)

I've been using this for over a year with my senior dog (13 yr pit mix). My vet mentioned it's use for muscle building and retention post surgery and thought it might help slow down muscle loss in his back legs as he ages. While he does have noticable muscle loss, I don't think it's anywhere like it would be without it. I've even had comments from people about how good his tone is for his age. I am going to keep using this.
