She likes it.

Our 17 year old kitty has kidney disease and has been losing weight over the past year. We got this stuff at the recommendation of the vet and so far she likes it

Our 17 year old kitty has kidney disease and has been losing weight over the past year. We got this stuff at the recommendation of the vet and so far she likes it. She’s normally very picky but we mixed a scoop of this with a pouch of Hyra Care and she ate almost all of it, which is amazing for her. Hopefully she continues to like it each day. I’ll update the review once we’ve had time to see if it helps her retain or build muscle.

NOT For Sensitive Stomachs

I tried several times to introduce this supplement, but my cat developed GI upset each time. Definitely use caution of your kitty tends to be sensitive!

Do not recommend for older cats with CKD

I gave this to my cat who was losing muscle and weight. He did not like the taste and would not eat it. I mixed this stuff in with his favorite food and he ate it

I gave this to my cat who was losing muscle and weight. He did not like the taste and would not eat it. I mixed this stuff in with his favorite food and he ate it the second time. A couple days later he threw up so we took him to the vet -- his kidney levels had gotten TERRIBLE and we had to say goodbye just a few days later. I'm not blaming this product, but I don't know why else his kidney values got worse practically overnight. Could have been any other factor(s) but this is literally the only new thing that we introduced into his diet. Anyway, I don't recommend it. Don't risk it.

Already Showing a Big Difference

I've been using this product for two weeks and I've already noticed my cat filling in a bit more as far as his muscles/weight. I've been slightly concerned about

I've been using this product for two weeks and I've already noticed my cat filling in a bit more as far as his muscles/weight. I've been slightly concerned about my cat's natural muscle loss, so I figured this wouldn't hurt to try and the reviews have been fairly good despite the occasional cat rejecting it for whatever reason (but hey, that's a cat for ya). I've been mixing a scoop of this with his wet food and he seems to enjoy it.

Cat does not like it!

Helping my little old man

MYOS does appear to be helping my little 18 year old cat. He has trouble keeping weight on, but his muscles have made a little comeback using MYOS.
