I got this to top the food and/or entice drinking habits of our old, skinny cat. He wouldn't touch it in either powder or broth form. Our chowhound cat who eats everything wouldn't touch it. I figured I could at least feed it to the starving stray cat outside, but even she didn't recognize it as food. I hope others have better luck. I'm giving it 2 stars because of the idea, and because I could have tried different temperatures or mixing it with different things other than water or leaving it as a powder on the food.
I was trying to help add more liquid to the diet if my 3 cats, so thought to try this! I prepared a small amount to test it out. My picky cat would not touch it. My other cat consumed about half of what he was given. My last cat consumed all of what he was given but got diarrhea after. He tends to occasionally have a sensitive tummy, so this wasn’t entirely surprising. My biggest issue was that it wouldn’t mix super well. It became a bit clumpy when mixed with water.
My 2 cats don't like it - mixed in their wet food, they refused about half of their portions.
My girl absolutely loves this bone broth. She licks the bowl to make sure she doesn’t miss one drop. And I like that the bone broth in this form has a longer shelf life!
My dog is very picky with food but he absolutely love this bone broth we tried different and kept coming back to native.
I have two dogs and a cat. All three of them turned up their noses to this, even when it was on top of their favorite food!
My girls absolutely love it including our picky eaters. Even the cats try to steal a bite or two. Noticed it helps my oldest pup and the younger two have a nice shine to their fur.
I love this stuff for my dogs. I sprinkle some atop a lick mat with veggie pieces in it and they lap it right up. Great to get them to eat veggies that they otherwise turn their nose up to.
I noticed my 9 year old chihuahua mix starting to be lazy and has gained a ton of weight. I read up on nutrition for dogs and decided to switch him up. I read that kibble should be wet and decided that this added extra nutrients vs just adding water. This is one of the items I added to his feed regiment and he LOVES it. He has more energy and actually excited at meal time. This will ALWAYS be a repurchase!
My dog absolutely loves this stuff. He licks the bowl clean after we started adding this to his meals. Love that it’s got simple, straight forward ingredients. The only thing I’m a bit sad about is that the sunflower ingredient stains! My dog has white paws and tends to lick his paws at times (something we’re working on). Took him to the vet, before realizing the sunflower ingredient was causing the staining. No harm done but he looks a bit silly with his bright yellow paws.
