Great for my kitties!

First, I will add to the plethora of folks that had trouble with the pump, hence the removal of a star. It did not simply twist to pop up, as I think is intended. As another reviewer mentioned, though, if you unscrew the pump entirely, grasp the inside orange base of it (I just used some paper towels to give myself a grip) as you turn the pump on top, it will pop up! After doing that, it's worked beautifully! As far as the oil, I'm glad to report that my cats (who have been picky about fish oil additions to their wet food in the past) so far seem to have no issue with this one. I do one pump per kitty per day.

How to Fix Pump

I just got this and started feeding it to my dog so I don’t have feedback on that yet but as you’ll see, many people said the pump doesn’t work. I have a solution! Unscrew and take the pump off, get pliers and clench the part that’s underneath the part the has the thread. Then twist the lever part (the part that you push down) and that should loosen it up until it pops out. Hopefully these instructions make sense and help someone!

Great Product, Pump Broken

I initially got this product figuring the reviews about the broken pump were exaggerated. They were not. The pump was broken, however, the product itself is very good. I simply unscrew the cap and use the syringe part to drip oil onto my pets' food, and that works fine. I have noticed a huge improvement in my pets' fur as a result! Very satisfied overall, but the broken pump is a slight issue.

Pump Doesn’t Work

I have to agree with others that the pump doesn’t work. It will not “unlock” in order to dispense the liquid. I have unscrewed the top and dropped it in, but that seems to be making quite the fishy mess. If the dispensing issue were taken care of, I would recommend the product, as my dog doesn’t seem to mind it. Unfortunately I cannot use it on a regular basis to determine if it is making a difference.

PUMP DOES NOT WORK

I tested the smaller version of this product and the pump worked just fine. I added the bigger one onto my autoship orders and I am on my second bottle that does not have a working pump. It is hard to pour without making a mess and wasting extra oil. I have yet to see a difference with my two dogs (bernedoodle and shepard/lab) They are always itching so maybe this is just not the product for them.

Great product, pump never works

I love this product and I've been using it for both of my dogs but I have noticed in the 5 times I've ordered the pumps don't work. They are stuck in the locked position from packing and no matter what I do I can't open them. I've been having to reuse a pump from 6 months ago because none of the new ones work. If the pump gets fixed I would give the product a 5 stars

disappointing

I read the reviews ahead of time about the pump not working at all and had hoped maybe that had been addressed and fixed but I was wrong. Pump doesn’t work at all I have told to transfer it to another container and assume the dispensed amount was the same. I usually like this brand but they Need to adjust their packaging.

Best Coat Ever

My dog already has fairly soft fur but this stuff took it to a whole new level! We recently started incorporating fish oil because he has some coarse hairs towards the bottom of his back. We tried one from a different brand and didn’t notice much of a difference. Then I ran out and picked this one up and wow! The difference is so noticeable. Definitely buying again! Even though his diet is salmon based, I still think this is a great addition.

It's only been about 2 weeks

I took my 3 month boxer rescue to the vet, and I brought up how dry and flaky her skin was and the vet recommended we try an omega oil, so far her coat looks shinier I'm just waiting to see results as far as her flakes go. That's why I only gave 3 stars. She really seems to like the taste, and I like that there's only a couple of ingredients instead of a whole paragraphs worth.

Miracle cure for dog allergies and skin care!

I initially bought this to relieve allergy issues with one of my rescues, Lucy. After spending money on vet bills and allergy shots that didn’t work, I tried this in her food and all allergies disappeared! Then my Bella, 13 Year old Diabetic Schnauzer got a hot spot that was so infected she lost her hair and skin on her back. Vets stated it would take months to heal due to age and diabetes. One month later the vets were shocked at the results of just adding this to her diet.
