Questions & Answers

6 Customer Questions

Are these meant to be eaten completely, or is there a point at which I throw it away?

Answer by ChewyNov 09, 2021
When the Antler is gnawed down to a size that is smaller than the width of the dog's mouth you may throw the antler away to avoid choking hazards. If the antler is starting to dry up and break, please also throw the antler away.

How many are included in one bag?

Answer by ChewyDec 09, 2020
We offer these chews in a 3 count bag or 5 count bag.

do these have any odors?

Answer by ChewyFeb 22, 2021
Because this is a natural treat, you may notice a natural scent and oil while your dog chews it.

Do Elk antlers splinter?

Answer by ChewyJul 09, 2025
To prevent injury and choking hazard, please watch your pet while they enjoy this treat and be sure to choose the appropriate size chew. If this product splinters or develops sharp edges, throw it away immediately for your pet's safety.

I have 3 pups, so getting 3 in a bag is perfect for my pack. They love that these are split, and they spend considerable time gnawing on these, right out of the bag. They continue to gnaw on these, on and off, for months. These never lead to upset tummies, and the chewing is soothing and good for their teeth. They are pricey, but they last a long time. Great for power chewers.

Huge

I ordered the wrong size for Zoey, she needed the smaller size. The bones did not go to waste, I gave them to the shelter here.

I bought these believing that they were actual antlers, the inly thing my golden doesn’t tear to shreds. I gave one to my dog. When I went to check on him, there were lots of bits on the floor but I couldn’t find the antler. He was also looking a bit queasy. A while later, he started spitting up large shards of the chew. I read the label and realized it was a fabricated chew. The chards were large and jagged and I worried that they could cause internal damage. He threw up chards several more times and I worried for several days about injury. Thankfully he was fine. But I urge caution before giving these chews.

Great for Serious Chewers!

My Aussie chews so hard and for so long it was hard to find anything that would last, and that he would stay interested in. These did the trick!

Mismarked packaging title & pictures.

The package displays several dog treats, and the wording suggests that there are multiple treats in the package. However, it only contains ONE dog chew.

If you have a heavy chewer, these natural bones are a great solution. My 10-month bernadoodle loves them and they keep her out of trouble. These can cost around $10/bone at my local pet store, so I was thrilled to find this value bag with bones sourced in the USA. I have them on auto-refill now!

My dog is sick a picky one. She is very opinionated on what she eats and likes. Give her something she loved today two days from now and she’ll snub her nose at it. But this she’s loved on day one and every day since. My mind was blown. So since she’s continued liking it since. For that reason we will give it FIVE STARS!!!!

Love Elk Antlers

Probably better to get the whole antler. Once the marrow is gone, my dog has no interest in the antler.

long lasting even with aggressive chewer

My 10 month old puppy loves these and it's the best thing I've found so far to help satiate his need to chew. He gnaws and gnaws but doesn't do much damage to them

My 10 month old puppy loves these and it's the best thing I've found so far to help satiate his need to chew. He gnaws and gnaws but doesn't do much damage to them so they last amazingly well. I will definitely be purchasing these again and highly recommend them to anyone who has a dog that wants to chew and yet most chews don't last for them.
