My Baby LOVES It

Cherry finishes this food faster than any in her 14 years. I put warm broth with the hot water they ask you to add to soften the Veges and dried broth. You can see the sweet potatoes, peas, etc. For the beef, I add raw beef so I use less and for the chicken, I use kibble so far (still looking for a better chicken option). She is a rescue so she eats fast anyway, but this is ridiculous ess! Loves it. And not as expensive as other raw options.

I have a container that I can mix enough for four days and put it in the frig. Had seen someone post that their dog had cushings. Mine appears to have the same issue

I have a container that I can mix enough for four days and put it in the frig. Had seen someone post that their dog had cushings. Mine appears to have the same issue and I needed something with less fat. I have not had the problem with powder since I realized it was bone broth. I turned the bag upside down and shook gently before turning it back to open. I’m still trying to adjust the amount of water. If it seems thick, I just add a little warm water when I feed. I think it’s great food with a reasonable price.

My German shepherd was diagnosed with bladder stones and bone cancer at his last vet appointment. The vet put him on this really expensive prescription diet, that was basically corn. Which my boy didn’t want to eat. So I started to look for a better alternative. I found Nature’s Diet. Eating time used to be a lot of nose up and protesting. Now he’s pushing up to the kitchen for his bowl. Only thing I’m unhappy about it the amount of dust or crumbs in the bags. I try to shake it up so it’s more evenly divided but it doesn’t really make a difference. I’m considering scooping all the chucks out and running them through the blender so it’s more uniform and easier to evenly disrepute the food.

Too much dried broth

Dogs like it. I think there is way too much died broth powder and it is very rich even as a topper. It combines well enough with water.

Healthier for them only they eat it.

Two dogs won't eat this food as is mixed. If I fish out the peices of freeze dried chicken they will eat them but not anything else in the bag .

Both of my dogs love this food.

I do use it for a topping, and it makes the kibble richer when you put in the water. It’s almost like a stew.

They love this as a food topper!

They always look forward to dinner time with this freeze dried treat, mixed with water to make a yummy gravy, stirred in with their regular dry dog food.

Freeze Dried Raw

This product is well prepared however it is hit and miss the amount of ‘dust’ you need to manage and ensure it’s mixed in with the larger solid freeze dried product

This product is well prepared however it is hit and miss the amount of ‘dust’ you need to manage and ensure it’s mixed in with the larger solid freeze dried product. We have found that in comparison to other similar ‘ready mix’ freeze dried raw - it is superior - it is just managing the excess ‘dust’ of product degenerating in the packaging. Using Kew Olson’s K9 bible along with this food I have been able to balance diet etc for my pups which has been a pocket $$ manageable approach - rather than kibble.
