Less Dusty Than Naturally Fresh Ultra Odor, But Still Dusty
I bought this after reading a comment, on the Naturally Fresh Ultra Odor Litter page, that recommended mixing this litter with it to get rid of the heavy dust. The first Nature's Miracle order arrived opened, but Chewy quickly sent a replacement. It worked well for 4 days, but the walnut dust quickly came back the litter area. On its own, this is the third day of using Nature's Miracle alone, and it also gets dust on my cat's face and paws. Plus he's sneezing. But at least its less dusty than the Naturally Fresh.
A Winner for Me and My Senior Cat
I have tried several brands and types of cat litter over the years for my now-senior cat, and this one has proved to be the absolute best hands down. The natural pine smell is refreshing, not like a fake chemical smell, there is no dust as in pouring clay type litters, and the granules of the corn cob material are easy to sweep or vacuum up if there is a spill. I use a pair of scissors to cut straight across the top left side of the bag to create an opening, then it is easy to pick up the bag using the finger hole on the right side, tilt the bag over the top of my litter pan, and pour. My fur baby quickly adapted to this brand of litter and has never had a problem. I would recommend this litter to anyone using the better known and advertised brands.
Best Litter - Not Clay
This is the same litter we've used for years, so we love it, but we really need the 18lb bag. Paying $14+ for 10lb bags is pricey! I hope it's not an indication that Nature's Miracle is going to stop manufacturing this corn formula, because that would be disastrous!
I love Nature's Miracle Clumping Litter because it is not as heavy as the clay litter, but it needs work for stopping the smell and the scattering when the cats get out of the box. The cats have a tendency to not cover the poop before they leave. It may be that it is too light weight. . . .
I'm looking for a litter to help with some behavioral issues with my senior cat. I thought this litter was going to be great but the fake pine scent is truly off-putting after a few days of use, even when regularly scooped. It also doesn't dry out solid waste like other litters which is problematic. It's low dust but tracks just as badly as other litters. Overall really not a fan.
My favorite litter
My name is Tanner. I’m an adopted tabby who owns two wonderful humans. They changed to Nature’s Miracle Corn Cob litter cuz it sounded interesting. I told them I LOVE it! It smells like a pine forest and is NOT dusty. It does not stick to my toes. My humans scoop my box twice a day. No smells. Great litter!
This litter does reasonably well at scent control, but one cat really likes to paw at litter, and it was so sticky that it built up between his toes. I found him trying to bite off hard wads of stuck litter. It required two people at the vet holding him down and using clippers and scissors to clean out his front paws, and he's a short-haired cat! I've never had this problem with any other litter. The vet said not to use this litter ever again. I'm giving two stars, because my other cat had no problems, but my preferred litter that I recommend is Tidy Cats Pure Nature.
Super Easy to Clean
I loved getting Nature's Miracle Premium Scented Clumping Corn Cat Litter. It doesn't turn into concrete at the bottom of box. It's also super easy to clean and doesn't get stuck on bottom of the litter box. It's also great for automatic litter boxes!
Great Litter, Environmentally Friendlier than Clay
This is probably best for short hair cats, and you need to wait at least 30 minutes after the cat uses it to scoop for clumping to become firm. A wire scooper works best for this litter. GREAT at odor control.
My favorite litter
My local store stopped carrying this litter so now I get it from Chewy...delivered to the house at no charge!
