About NaturVet Vitamins and Supplements

Digestive Support for Pets

Gastrointestinal upsets can cause your best friend grief and impact his overall health, leading to loose stools and other challenges due to a disturbance in the gut flora. NaturVet Digestive and Probiotic supplements help restore microbial imbalance and promote GI health in your pet by providing the healthy digestive enzymes, gut flora-feeding prebiotics and probiotic microorganisms your pet needs.

How Digestive Enzymes Help

Digestive enzymes aid in the breakdown of food and proper absorption of nutrients for better and healthier digestion. Enzymes like alpha-amylase for starch, protease for protein, cellulase for cellulose and lipase for triglycerides play an important role in how the body breaks down and metabolizes food. Supplementing these enzymes can help make digestion easier for a challenged pet.

Prebiotics Vs. Probiotics

When a GI imbalance occurs, it usually means there are too many bad bacteria and not enough good bacteria in the gut. Probiotics like bacillus coagulans and bacillus subtilis help restore good bacteria to the gut, while prebiotics like fructooligosaccharides provide a food source so they can flourish. Giving your pet a combo of pre- and probiotics can help quickly restore balance after an upset.

Digestive Supplements

NaturVet Digestive Enzyme supplements contain a mix of essential digestive enzymes, prebiotics and bacillus coagulans probiotics to encourage gut balance, good digestion and overall GI health. They’re vet formulated and recommended for food transitioning, sensitive stomachs, flatulence and when recovering from illness.

Advanced Digestive Supplements

NatureVet Advanced Probiotics and Enzymes supplements contain bacillus coagulans and bacillus subtilis PB6 probiotics, which can survive the whole GI tract to promote optimal balance. Digestive enzymes in the formula help break down food for better digestion, too. They are ideal for pets with more severe imbalances resulting from illness, antibiotics, deworming, diet change, or other stressors.

Easy to eat

I really like the ease of the powder versus pills. My cat doesn’t seem to notice.

I dont know why the formula was changed but this is now a dangerous product. I used this for years when it was a fine white powder. It worked wonders for my dog and his digestion. Now its brownish in color and coarse with a strange smell. This product is now hell on my dogs stomach. Hes had diarrhea for days and now with vomiting. I could literally hear his stomach bubbling. NaturVet should be ashamed of themselves. Whatever cost cutting, amoral, and poisonous additives they are now putting in their product should be avoided at all cost. Disgusting and sickening.

New Package is Terrible

I used to buy this in the little tub and it was the perfect size. Now it’s changed to this resealable bag, but it’s much bulkier and harder to use. Powder gets everywhere

I bought this for both of my dogs because one had runny poop and the other had allergies from grass. It helped almost immediately with the runny poop and took maybe a week for my guy with allergies. They don’t mind the taste and I don’t mind the price if it’s working for them.
