Hemp hairball treats?
Jury is still out on this one. Hopeful. 1 kitty wolfed it down & looked for more, next gummed it & retched it up. Several got wary when we tried to offer as a treat...but when placed in their bowls (next to food-not mixed in), most ate it as an afterthought.

Hemp Hirball Aid
I, unfortunately, would not recommend this item as the one pet that has the issue of hairballs, did not like them and I feel it was a waste of money for this product.

Laxative effect of hairball aid
Hello,
Each of my cats ate a small portion of one of these chews and they both had a strong reaction. One had diarrhea (3x in one night) and the other had a sudden loose stool experience.
So, it seems to me that this is more of a laxative.

Kitties won't eat these
I bought this for my long haired cat who has a lot of hairballs but unfortunately he doesn't like it. I also tried giving it to my other cat, but she doesn't like it either :( I would prefer to give him something like this rather than the gel hairball remedy, but.....
I can't recommend or not recommend, perhaps another cat will enjoy them

Love these chews!
My cat, Rudy, was having issues with constipation. Our vet suggested mixing some fiber (like Metamucil) into his food, but I thought I'd try these. He wouldn't eat them whole, but I crumble 1/2 a chew into his canned food. He loves it! And it has solved his constipation problem. Hairballs seem to be less of a problem as well.
