There are no beta glucans percentage listed on the Certificate of Analysis. Mushrooms are a natural product, so variances may be found that are due to the growing and drying conditions, age, season, harvest time, geographic location, production process, etc. This supplement uses the following mushrooms: Reishi - Fruiting body. Currently sourced from Unknown country. Maitake – Mycelial cultured on organic oats. Currently sourced from the US. Shiitake – Fruiting body and mycelial cultured on organic oats. Currently sourced from the US. Turkey Tail – Fruiting body. Currently sourced from China.

These are made with Reishi, Maitake, Shiitake, and Turkey Tail mushrooms rather than mushroom extracts.

Is this organic, US sourced and any verification of #'s stated?

This supplement is not organic and is manufactured in the USA. Every ingredient that comes into a NaturVet facility is accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis from their American Supplier, which means it is guaranteed in certain requirements but the country of origin is not always listed.

For cats up to 5 pounds feed 1/2 soft chew daily. For cats over 5 pounds and dogs up to 25 pounds, feed 1 soft chew daily. For dogs 26-50 pounds, feed 2 soft chews daily. For dogs 51-100 pounds, feed 4 soft chews daily. For dogs over 100 pounds, feed 6 soft chews daily.

My golden retriever eats anything but carrots. I gave him one of these chews and he scarfed it down. Will be giving it for the next four months to deal with his itching (post surgical antibiotics) and lumps. Will let you know its effectiveness. Right now I wanted to report that after reading other reviews about being shorted, I counted the supplements. This was lot 16925-10 with Best by date of 06/2028. There were 121 soft chews in the 120 count cannister, so perhaps they corrected their counting errors.

These supplements made both of our dogs extremely sick! We followed the recommended dosage and gave each dog only one dose. Within 24 hours, both developed severe diarrhea and began vomiting. The diarrhea resolved after three days, but they are still vomiting and struggling to keep any food down. This has been frightening and distressing for both them and us, and I cannot in good conscience recommend this product to anyone.

Unfortunately Lead to More Issues Than Solved

Had previously spent a lot of time looking into the many benefits of mushrooms for humans and canines when a previous dog of mine had cancer. Was excited to try this as an all around supplement for my senior, small (15 lb) dog, and to help with allergies for my larger (50lb), younger dog. The pieces were too hard, and large for the smaller dog and I had to soak it with her food. For the larger dog, it caused her rear gland issues to appear with a vengeance. She had daily leaks while taking this regularly. I decided to give a 30 day break for her and to try again in hopes it was a fluke but just within a couple days her issues "reared" up again. I really wanted to like this product but saw no positive change in either dog.
